Actually, Nick Jensen created this life-size recreation of the Stormtrooper weapon. It is 100% LEGO bricks and nothing but LEGO bricks.
Nick needs to just work for LEGO, because this blaster looks perfectly accurate as far as I can tell. I would love to buy this as an official LEGO set.
