This Star Wars-inspired BBQ grill based on Darth Vader’s fighter ship, the TIE Advanced X1, is amazing and comes from a backyard far far away. The Imperial grill is made of steel and coated with heat-resistant paint and it can cook food up to 800º, which is about the temp achieved inside of your cockpit if this thing fires on you and blows you sky-high.

Marvel fans will want this new book called The Alex Ross Marvel Comics Poster Book. The book comes from Alex Ross and Marvel Entertainment and has 35 ready-to-frame art prints as well as commentary for some of Ross’ classic work. It looks absolutely amazing.
The Alex Ross Marvel Comics Poster Book will release on April 20 for $24.99. The good news is that you can pre-order copies right now through Amazon so that you don’t miss out on Ross’ amazing work.
Have some coffee with your companions at this cool Doctor Who Tardis Coffee Table. It is perfect for the Doctor Who-themed home or for a coffee spot in your actual Tardis. The lid comes off for storage, but I don’t think it’s bigger on the inside.
Good news for fans of the Indiana Jones movies. Paramount Pictures and Lucasfilm have announced that they will be releasing a 4K Ultra HD collection for the four films that exist currently. The Indiana Jones franchise is celebrating its 40th anniversary. You’ll be able to pick the collection up for yourself on June 8th! I can’t wait to watch it all in glorious 4k.
Each film has been remastered from 4K scans of the original negatives with visual effects work done to ensure the best and highest quality image. This work was all approved by director Steven Spielberg.
We told artist Badanklebill our idea for a Star trek inspired take on Topps’ classic Wacky Packages and he did not disappoint. These products and companies feature some of your Trek favorites mashed up with brand names and products we have all seen. Though we will never see them in the same way again. We have Q peddling Q-Tips, Borger King advertising their new Assimi-Latte, Gorn Giant Vegetables, 7-11 of 9, and Klingles. If only these were real stickers!
Superheroes have long protected their home cities, states, and the world. But in 2020 how can they protect us mere mortals against a deadly pandemic like coronavirus? By wearing medical masks of course, just like us. You do what you have to do to protect the ones you love from covid-19. These heroes are no stranger to masks, so the choice was an easy one. They just do what they do every day. Marvel Heroes and DC Heroes suit up for danger. Just like all of the doctors and nurses around the world, who are also heroes.
So if you see one of your favorite Marvel Heroes and DC Heroes flying by and looking a little strange, have no fear. And make sure that you mask up too, in order to protect them right back. This art honors everyone who fights for our health every day. Living in a world where we have to quarantine is not easy. The heroes are on the frontline fighting coronavirus.
The first trailer for The Mandalorian is here and it looks like it is going to be a wild ride of a show. Disney and Lucasfilm may just be able to bring Star Wars back from the brink with this show. I’m cautiously optimistic since Disney Star Wars has been a train wreck so far. Maybe they got the memo that we want actual great storytelling. That is my hope anyway.
This Disney+ series looks like it’s going to be pretty amazing.
After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
The Mandalorian will arrive on Disney+ on November 12th, 2019.
I don’t need any fancy spidey senses to know to get the hell away from this guy as fast as I can. This nightmarish alternate reality Spider-Man is actually Mike Carver, who dressed up as Man-Spider from Spider-Man. It’s hideous but amazing.
You can not unsee this! To celebrate Star Wars day on May 4th some sick individual dressed up to give us this disturbing Slave Leia George Lucas cosplay. How dare you sir! I’m looking away now and searching for anything to get this image out of my mind.
Avengers: Endgame is killing it at the box office in it’s first 3 days. On Friday, it broke the record set Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015 for highest-grossing opening day. Endgame made $156.7 million on Friday, and $60 million in Thursday night previews. That beats the $119.1 million record set by The Force Awakens by over $38 million.
The new film is now expected to set a new opening weekend record at about $340 million in its first three days. Some think that it will hit the $350-$375 range.
This isn’t the manufactured buzz of captain Marvel where they stir up all of the “woke” NPCs with Brie Larson acting like an activist idiot about race and gender. There were no drives to get underprivileged girls into theaters, which would count toward the box office. And we are also not seeing any shady movie ticket buying where half of the theater is empty, yet those tickets have sold.
No. This is genuine excitement as this movie was 20 years in the making. All of the MCU has been leading up to it. These numbers will go way up.
