Just in case you ever need to explain Back To The Future to a friend who hasn’t seen it, statistician Dr. Nathan Yau of Flowing Data created this simple chart that retells the story of the Back to the Future plot.
Theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Doctor Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator – and vanished. … And so Doctor Beckett finds himself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong and hoping each time that his next leap… will be the leap home.
Dr. Beckett never leaped home, but if you want to follow every leap that he ever made on the TV show, check out this cool interactive map created by Josh Jones. It has every episode title and description so you can match the leap with the location. It is a total of 93 leaps across five seasons. Maybe someone can use this to track his last leap and find him.

This is something new. SNAWH.net is a webpage containing the entire story of Star Wars: Episode IV.In this case, it is told by Swiss illustrator and graphic novelist Martin Panchaud in the style of a huge infographic. It has 157 pictures on 22 huge Adobe Illustrator files. It must have taken him a long time to make this. It is interesting to see how he handled all of that information. This Star Trek Starships Size Comparison video from MetaBallStudios takes a look at many Star Trek ships and compares them. Obviously many of them are not very accurate at all, but it should be noted that even in the various Star Trek series, they never did a great job with scale. But it is still a fun look at many starships. I had forgotten about some of these.
No matter what kind of superhero you are and no matter what your powers may be, renting an apartment in New York is going to cost you big. I bet you’re sorry you shelled out all of that money for your awesome costume now, huh? New York superheroes sure don’t have it easy.

It would be amazing to travel through time and space with any Doctor from Doctor Who. The only problem is choosing which Doctor to travel with. They all have their good points.
