Avengers Endgame On Track To Hit 340 Million In First 3 Days
Avengers: Endgame is killing it at the box office in it’s first 3 days. On Friday, it broke the record set Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015 for highest-grossing opening day. Endgame made $156.7 million on Friday, and $60 million in Thursday night previews. That beats the $119.1 million record set by The Force Awakens by over $38 million.

The new film is now expected to set a new opening weekend record at about $340 million in its first three days. Some think that it will hit the $350-$375 range.

This isn’t the manufactured buzz of captain Marvel where they stir up all of the “woke” NPCs with Brie Larson acting like an activist idiot about race and gender. There were no drives to get underprivileged girls into theaters, which would count toward the box office. And we are also not seeing any shady movie ticket buying where half of the theater is empty, yet those tickets have sold.

No. This is genuine excitement as this movie was 20 years in the making. All of the MCU has been leading up to it. These numbers will go way up.

We got a lot of Star Wars news this past weekend. We got the first trailer for the film along with a bunch of panels and interviews at Star Wars Celebration. So some behind-the-scenes stuff was bound to leak out. Like the fact that the ending was changed during shooting. This info came directly from Daisy Ridley herself.

Once the movie comes out, maybe we will learn just how the ending was changed.

Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker Teaser Trailer
So the new trailer for Star Wars Episode IX is finally here and… Disney Star Wars is as strange as ever. I want to have hope for this franchise but they don’t make it easy. Why is Kylo Ren chasing Rey in his TIE Fighter on the ground? Why does he not just shoot her? Why does Rey perform a Matrix move as if she’s going to cut the vehicle in half? As usual this is some terrible writing and editing, and this is JUST the trailer for this movie.

Also, that title sucks. The only thing that Disney has done with the skywalkers is to make Luke an A-hole who tries to kill his nephew, lives on an island all grumpy and drinks titty milk from a sea creature. Then he dies. So I don’t want any more Disney-Skywalker. The only good part of this trailer was Lando and even he is tainted thanks to the SOLO movie.

Here’s to hoping that one day Disney can get Star Wars right.

Marvel Studios has released the Super Bowl trailer for Avengers: Endgame and uh… It’s got a pretty depressing tone. We see some new footage from the film which shows the surviving members of the Avengers, well, surviving. Naturally, things seem pretty gloomy after what happened in Avengers: Infinity War. The trailer features Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Tony Stark Nebula, Thanos, Rocket, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, and War Machine.

New Trailer For DC’s Shazam!
Warner Bros. has outed the next new trailer for DC’s Shazam! and it brings lots of fun and action. There’s lots of new footage here. This movie really looks like it will be a lot of fun. Among the scenes that we get to see here are young Billy Baston testing out his new powers, buying beer, and Shazam! battling against Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. If it is even half as awesome as it looks this movie is going to do very well at the box office. I can’t wait.

The Batmobile Spotted On The Set Of JOKER
There’s a new video from the set of Joker and it features a Batmobile, but not the one you may be thinking of. This is the classic 1960s version that Adam West drove. We aren’t sure how this fits in with the movie, but we are definitely intrigued. Maybe it’s just an easter egg. Honestly, it just makes me more interested in this movie. I can’t wait to find out what is going on here.

Joker will be released in theaters on October 4, 2019.

New Trailer For M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass
M. Night Shyamalan looks poised to deliver another superhero movie of the first class in Glass. We just received teasers featuring the main characters of the acclaimed director’s new film. This Drama follows security guard David Dunn who has supernatural abilities. Once again, he will use these abilities to track down a mentally ill villain who has twenty-four personalities. James McAvoy portrays Kevin Wendell Crumb, the man with split personalities and Bruce Willis plays David Dunn, the security guard. The film also features Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price. Kevin Wendell Crumb is mentally ill, but far from weak. His personalities form The Beast, who first made its appearance in the prequel to this film, Split. The anticipation for this film is high after a well-executed first installment in Unbreakable and another in Split. It is slated to come out in January 2019.
