This Star Wars-inspired BBQ grill based on Darth Vader’s fighter ship, the TIE Advanced X1, is amazing and comes from a backyard far far away. The first trailer for The Mandalorian is here and it looks like it is going to be a wild ride of a show. Disney and Lucasfilm may just be able to bring Star Wars back from the brink with this show. I’m cautiously optimistic since Disney Star Wars has been a train wreck so far. Maybe they got the memo that we want actual great storytelling. That is my hope anyway.
This Disney+ series looks like it’s going to be pretty amazing.
After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
The Mandalorian will arrive on Disney+ on November 12th, 2019.

We got a lot of Star Wars news this past weekend. We got the first trailer for the film along with a bunch of panels and interviews at Star Wars Celebration. So some behind-the-scenes stuff was bound to leak out. Like the fact that the ending was changed during shooting. This info came directly from Daisy Ridley herself.

Once the movie comes out, maybe we will learn just how the ending was changed.
So the new trailer for Star Wars Episode IX is finally here and… Disney Star Wars is as strange as ever. I want to have hope for this franchise but they don’t make it easy. Why is Kylo Ren chasing Rey in his TIE Fighter on the ground? Why does he not just shoot her? Why does Rey perform a Matrix move as if she’s going to cut the vehicle in half? As usual this is some terrible writing and editing, and this is JUST the trailer for this movie.
Also, that title sucks. The only thing that Disney has done with the skywalkers is to make Luke an A-hole who tries to kill his nephew, lives on an island all grumpy and drinks titty milk from a sea creature. Then he dies. So I don’t want any more Disney-Skywalker. The only good part of this trailer was Lando and even he is tainted thanks to the SOLO movie.
Here’s to hoping that one day Disney can get Star Wars right.

There are some good Star Wars fan films out there, and then there are some exceptional ones. Vader: Episode I belongs in the latter camp. This film will blow you away! It is set between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Do yourself a favor and watch this.
