Flash! Ahhh ahhhh! Savior of the universe. All of these years later, I still love that song. And you know what? Cheesy as the 1980s Flash Gordon movie was, it will always have a special place in my heart. That’s why I am excited that Flash Gordon Pop! Vinyl Figures are coming. You can pre-order them now and they will ship in June.

Check out this unbelievable custom Death Star toy. It was made by Jack Stuk and Star Wars toy manufacturers need to be taking note. He used the Gi Joe Cobra Terror Drome toy. Every time he saw that old toy he thought it would make a great Death Star, so he finally made it happen. This Death Star has it all. The bridge where Luke and Leia swung across, a control room, a trash compactor and more. As the images show, it works well as a Force Awakens playset as well.
I want to have this soooo bad. That is some amazing custom work.
Tina Turner may have sang, “We don’t need another hero”, but I disagree. I think we need a whole bunch of heroes. Little plush heroes that we can cuddle and snuggle with and display in our home, so that we feel better just knowing they are there. I’m talking about these awesome and adorable plush heroes from HandmadeStuffs.
They have plenty of plushes available, like Captain America, Daredevil, The Flash, Groot and more. Not to mention other geeky non-hero plush toys. There are plenty of plushes out there to choose from, but these all have a great personality. You can’t help but fall in love with them.
Hot Toys is still revealing their full line of figures based on the upcoming Batman v Superman and now they have debuted the first official images of their Batman and Batmobile cosbaby figures! They are downright adorable. The Batman figure stands 9.5 cm tall with the Batmobile measuring 16cm in length. This pair will arrive later this year. In case you missed it when it was being funded on Kickstarter, Fresh Monkey Fiction’s Amazing Heroes are now available for pre-order. I bet they fly off the shelves too so don’t hesitate.
These action figures is based on Golden Age heroes. They are bright and colorful and are modeled after the classic Mattel figures. The first wave features: The Black Terror, Silver Streak, Golden Age Daredevil, Stardust, Captain Action, Green Turtle, Champion of Mars and The Blank Slate. I love retro figures like this. They did a great job on all of the details.

Your action figures need a special place of honor and this is a mighty fine case to store them in. Takara Tomy will be releasing two very cool collectible display cases that look like the Star Wars logo. They come in two versions: One with transparent letters or one with all black with yellow outlines. Both look amazing.
These cases have removable dividers so you can use up to 12 small compartments or fewer for larger collectibles. These are going to look amazing displayed in your home. They cost about $30 each and will be available on April 4. Sadly they are exclusive to Japan though. If you have a friend there, maybe they will help you get them.

I’m not sure it’s a good idea to have a house full of Mogwai, even if they are adorable. We all know what can happen if you don’t follow the rules after all. But if you have to have some Mogwai in your home, these plush replicas from GakmanCreatures are a good choice. For the moment, they are cute as a button. How long they stay that way is up to you.

The next series of XXRAY Justice League figures will be released in the 2nd Quarter of 2016 and they look pretty awesome. This wave includes The Flash, Green Lantern, Cyborg and Aquaman. Check out these cool new Star Trek toys from Mega Bloks. They have unveiled several new sets from their Star Trek construction toy range. A lot of these are based on specific episodes and key locations, which seems to work really well judging by the images here. They also revealed a range of Kubrons figurines. Those are like Pop Vinyl figs, but with bricks. These all look pretty awesome.

As geeks we love a good mashup and this is a good one. Star Wars Stormtroopers and Darth Vader mashed up with Mobile Suit Gundam? Of course the results are going to be amazing. These custom-made Star Wars Gundam figures were created by Korean Gundam fan Kunho Noh. He basically took Stormtrooper models and modified them with Gundam armor. These are some hardcore Imperial lackeys. You can see some of his work below along with some video. These Stormtroopers look a lot more militaristic that’s for sure. I love all of the little weathering details on the armor.
