Batman v Superman Henry Cavill Barbie

Batman v Superman Henry Cavill Barbie
The other day we showed you the new Barbie “dolls” based on Batman v Superman. At the time Batman and Wonder Woman had been unveiled, but not Superman. Well, now we have some images of the Superman version. He’s looking pretty good for a Barbie doll. You can order him here. Looks like they ship on March 1st. I wonder if Mattel is going to be making more superhero dolls after these. I like what they are offering.

A Wonder Woman Barbie doll is expected, but Batman and Superman Barbie dolls? At least they don’t look like Ken. Mattel has announced their Batman and Wonder Woman “Dolls” based on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Both are available for pre-order on Amazon right now in fact. You can find Batman here and Wonder Woman here. They both stand 13 inches tall. No Superman yet however. I know the female fans will love that Wonder Woman version. She looks great.

Star Wars Gaming Tribute Art

Star Wars Gaming Tribute Art
I’m loving this colorful Star Wars Gaming Tribute Art. And since Star Wars fever is everywhere right now, this is a good time to share it. Artist Rob Duenas has outdone himself with this piece. There is so much to see in this amazing artwork, I’m still not sure I have noticed all of the details.

All of the cool Star Wars games are here. Star Wars arcade games, the old Atari 2600 games, the computer games from the 90s. There is just so much here. I like all of the little touches like the Han Solo in Carbonite keychain hanging next to a mini Lando on Leia’s Boba Fett backpack. It’s so colorful and playful. Leia knows how to game with the best of them.

The Daily Lives Of Superheroes And Villains

The Daily Lives Of Superheroes And Villains
We can never get enough of seeing fictional characters doing everyday things just like us mere mortals. I think it makes us feel more heroic somehow and by seeing superheroes and pop culture characters doing things like laundry and using public restrooms, it kind of brings them down closer to our level.

This series of amazing photographs comes from Canada-based photographer Daniel Picard. It shows superheroes, supervillains and other pop-culture characters doing all of the stuff that we do. He uses action figures, but you would swear that some of those characters are real people dressed in a costume. You can check out his Figure Fantasy book for many more.

These Star Wars Toy Photo Prints Are Just Plain Fun

Star Wars Toy Photos
Look at these prints from PlaysWithToys and try not to smile. These fun photos show Star Wars toys at play. Everything from Boba Fett playing soccer to Luke and Darth playing hopscotch with a Stormtrooper.

These prints are a lot of fun. They even have one that shows Chewbacca posing with his Harley. I just love the playfulness of these images as if all of these moments were captured in real life.

Millennium Falcon Drone

Millennium Falcon Drone
Sadly, none of us can ever know what it’s like to pilot the Millennium Falcon, but taking the Millennium Falcon Drone out for a spin is the next best thing. It’s the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.

Imagine what you can do in your very own backyard. I know that I’ve always wanted to fly this ship. This remote controlled quadcopter is what Star Wars fans have been waiting for. Fly the ship that has become legend in the Star Wars universe.

Sixth Scale Star Wars Drop Ship By Hot Toys

Sixth Scale Star Wars Drop Ship By Hot Toys
Hot Toys has really been going crazy lately and their plan seems to be “the bigger, the better”. Remember that 18 foot Millennium Falcon and cockpit? How about a Drop Ship that measures about 12 feet? A few days back, Hot Toys unveiled a sixth scale diorama at the Times Square in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. This phenomenal display includes that 18 foot long Millennium Falcon along with some new surprises.

Check out that First Order drop ship that we have seen in the trailers for The Force Awakens. It is a highly detailed and accurate version of the ship as far as we can tell. Every bit as cool as their other large ships. It probably won’t be produced commercially, but man, I would love to play with these huge toys. The sixth scale figs look amazing with these ships.
