Star Trek Enterprise Screen Used Shuttlepod Prop

Star Trek Enterprise Screen Used Shuttlepod Prop
If anyone wants to buy this Star Trek Enterprise Screen Used Shuttlepod Prop, feel free. I wouldn’t mind having this parked in the garage. Someone is selling it on eBay for $150,000. That is a bargain for an honest to God spacecraft from Star Trek Enterprise.

This is only one of 2 full scale shuttles made for the series, this process vehicle comprises three separate sections and features onboard electronics to illuminate the backlit navigation panel, exterior running lights and fluorescent lights for the rear thrusters. It has hatches on the port and starboard side as well as on the top. When the production ended the control panels where stripped out so the restoration team consulted with Mike Okuda who provided his original files and schematics of the Shuttles construction using Okuda’s files, New panels where replicated by the Paramount sign shop ( The same that constructed the original panels) using the same products and materials used to construct the originals. The panels are screen printed and feature finely detailed gauges, banks of buttons and key switches and readouts. Square rubber buttons are also incorporated on some of the key pad panels. This Impressively built piece measures approx 20ft long. It unbolts in three sections. Special shipping arrangements will apply. This really belongs in a museum! The buyer pays all shipping cost! Any questions please ask… Also this is for the serious collector so no low ball offers! Thanks and LLAP!

Star Trek The Trouble with Tribbles Cosplay

Star Trek The Trouble with Tribbles Cosplay
Here is a fun cosplay that you don’t see everyday. This is Shadow Kat Cosplay doing her best Jane Tiberius Kirk in a Star Trek: The Original Series Tribble cosplay! I love the look on her face in the second image with the cup. She channeled Kirk’s frustration perfectly. Here’s what she had to say about this fun shoot.

The Trouble with Tribbles is my very favorite episode of Star Trek. I’ve made both the green casual and the gold standard captains uniform and cant decide which I prefer, I love them both! I wore the Tribble skirt to a convention and handed Tribbles out to little kids and had so much fun!

Star Trek Enterprise NX Refit Exploration Cruiser

Star Trek Enterprise NX Refit Exploration Cruiser
Hold onto your Captain’s chairs Star Trek fans. This is a special treat. This is a conceptual refit of the NX-01 starship in Star Trek Enterprise. It was designed by Doug Drexler and had the show gone on to a fifth season, this ship may have become a reality. The idea is that this ship is a bridge between the original NX-01 and the classic TOS Constitution class. And boy did Doug knock it out of the park! You can explore this ship from every possible angle below.

You know, I often complain that in its later years, Trek got lazy with many of its ship designs. Not all. There were still some neat ships, but at a certain point they started to feel really uninspired. The NX-01 is not bad for what it is. Now that I’ve seen this amazing starship, I really wish they had started that series with this ship. It is a real stunner. You can tell it was designed by a Trek veteran. It has all of the right visual cues that push my buttons as a long time fan. I’m gonna stop gushing now, but I fully admit that I am in love with this ship. Check it out. I’m gonna admire it some more myself.

Thomas Marrone did an amazing job creating this 3D model.

The Ultimate LEGO Klingon Bird Of Prey Is Made From 25,000 LEGO Bricks

The Ultimate LEGO Klingon Bird Of Prey Is Made From 25,000 LEGO Bricks
I have always had a thing for the Klingon Bird of Prey. It is just such a beautifully designed ship from a time before the folks at Star Trek kind of gave up on good ship design. So I had to share this amazing LEGO creation from Kevin J. Walter. It took 25,000 LEGO pieces to create. The amount of detail that he created here is insane. I love these builds, but they also make me a bit sad, because LEGO should be offering sets like this so nerds like me can build them. On the other hand, it would probably cost a fortune so maybe it is for the best. Kevin had to create his version from a blueprint that he made himself.
