Take four creative Star Trek fans(Andrew Jason Leung, Ken Lin, Jennifer Puno, and Mike Rousseau), a trip to Iceland and some imagination, and you have an amazing Star Trek themed landing party! Their less than five year mission can viewed on their website, Star Trek Into Iceland.

This is the best geeky use of Iceland’s epic landscapes ever. So beautiful. So geeky. They obviously had a super fun time and it would be a blast to hang out with them. I wouldn’t even care if I drew the red shirt. They are my new heroes.

Amazing Star Trek Into Darkness Concept Art From Nathan Schroeder

Nathan Schroeder’s website has all kinds of Epic environmental concept art from the movie. Nathan was a member of the art department on both of the rebooted Trek movies. On his site you will find galleries for several of the films he has worked on. It is an impressive list that includes the X-Men films, Pirates of the Caribbean, an even a Battlestar Galactica movie that never happened.

Here you will see some of the scenic design for Star Trek Into Darkness. He worked on Qo’noS, Earth, and the Nibiru volcano. Check out some of these gorgeous settings.
