You have probably seen your share of Star Wars mashups that make use of The Force Awakens poster, but I bet you haven’t seen this awesome mashup before. I love those Mars Attacks aliens, so this really cracked me up. You can practically hear them making their weird Martian noises as you take it all in. My other thought is this…. Rey has looked better. This fun art was created by Taiwan based artist Yu Shen Yang.
Scary as it looks, this Alien Xenomorph Easter Bunny also looks delicious. Imagine having this on display during Easter. This yummy yet terrifying treat is the latest piece of edible art created by artist and baker Christine McConnell. The woman is a master food crafter. How does she do it? I have no idea, but I can tell you that the Xenomorh’s head is a Twinkie!

This art series from Kate Dawe is appropriately titled “Pop Eggs”. It takes pop culture characters and throws an egg into the mix. It’s a little odd, but that’s what we like about it. It’s also playful and fun.
The word puns are in full effect in the titles too, like E.T. The Eggstraterrestrial, Jurassegg Park, The Termeggnator and more. If you want to make a pop culture omelette, you have to break a few eggs right? Or at least incorporate eggs into your art. You can check out more in the link above. It’s egg-citing stuff.
The Last Starfighter is one of those classics that holds a special place in my heart. While Alex Rogan was playing the arcade game on screen and getting recruited to fight in a space war, I was one of those real life kids playing the arcade games for real. It was amazing to imagine that one of these games could maybe set me on an epic space adventure.
That’s probably why I love this The Last Starfighter: Xur’s Revenge Art Print so much. Yep, this is pretty much how a sequel poster would look today. We never got a sequel to this gem of a movie, but maybe one day…

We are loving this colorful series of illustrations by Deviantart user DjeDjehuti which depicts our favorite Disney princesses as Game Of Thrones characters. It’s an interesting idea, taking the wholesome world of Disney and mixing it with the violent world of GOT. I think they turned out pretty wonderful though and it makes us see these characters in a whole new way. The artist says:
This was a silly idea I had a little while back and so became a little pet project of mine – both the world of Disney Princesses and Game of Thrones have become so culturally pervasive, and feature such a diverse cast of ladies, it seemed crazy to me that this hadn’t yet been done!
I’m pretty surprised that this hasn’t been done myself. And if it was, I doubt it was this cool. A few of our favorites are below, but you can check the artists site for more.

Over the years Sci-Fi has given us many cool and famous rides. This is by no means a comprehensive series detailing all of them, but Christian Petersen’s art covers some of our favorites. I like the captions he provided under each one. The real question is which would win in a race? Well, that’s obvious.
The TARDIS would almost win, but since that miniature ship is in the Doctor’s bloodstream, it would cause him to pass out, allowing the miniature ship to leave the Doctor, exit the TARDIS and win the race.
This tribute to “The Bat, The Amazon and God” comes from artist Nicolas Côme. It features Batman , Superman and Wonder Woman in a Tattoo art style. I’m not usually a big fan of this kind of tattoo art, but I have to say, I love these. All of the details just blow me away. They would really come to life with some color. I guess this is what our heroes would like like after they are long gone and in the grave. It is disturbing yet beautiful. I would love to see these on someone’s skin. I would also love to see the artist do more heroes.
Who doesn’t love Gremlins? Or Mogwai? Even the bad guys are cute. Well, if you have a special place in your heart for the movie Gremlins, you’ll love this minimalist take on the series from french artist Mister Gamma. He calls it part 1 so hopefully he will do more. All of these minimalist designs are adorable. I’m not sure if they are still for sale, since I can’t find them anywhere else, but if you get a hold of these, don’t leave them on your wall after midnight, don’t get them wet and don’t expose them to bright light.
Check out these awesome colorful prints from Van Orton Design. I just love how these designs pop with vibrant color. It’s like they are wearing stained glass costumes.
