Jessica Rabbit Cosplays Everyone
Who knew that Jessica Rabbit was so versatile? Here she is in an interesting set of character art by Janine van Moosel. Here Jessica Rabbit is cosplaying all kinds of pop culture characters. She does Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Rogue, Lara Croft, Power Girl, Tinkerbell, The Bride of Frankenstein, and more. I have to say, she looks fabulous no matter who she is dressed as. Roger is one lucky rabbit!

Spaceballs Custom Action Figure

Spaceballs Custom Action Figure
Remember that scene in spaceballs where Dark Helmet was playing with action figures? Well, someone went ahead and made these figures for real and they are pretty awesome. I just wish I could buy these. This amazing set was made by Blayne Scott for a friend. I know. I wish I had a friend like Blayne too. They were sculpted over the course of 6 months using pieces of Star Wars figures and of course lots of sculpting techniques.

You can check out a whole gallery of images here. I can only hope that someone makes these for the masses. I love oddball figures like this.

Doctor Who: Interesting Alternative Cyberman Designs

Doctor Who Interesting Alternative Cyberman Designs
The Cybermen in New Who are okay, but I think their design is a bit boring. I much prefer the old Earthshock Cybermen from Peter Davison’s era. I’m still hoping that one day the modern Cybermen will get a decent makeover. Hopefully something like these designs that I recently came across.

The first design is a bit plain much like modern Cybermen, but I really like the extra black details, as if the human parts beneath are in some kind of wet suit. If you combine that with the darker design below, I think you have a winner. Something that will have kids hiding under their beds when a Cyberman episode comes on. Those eyes!

The Batmobile – An Evolution In Film

Well Batman v Superman recently hit theaters, so Select Car Leasing thought it would be a good time to take a look back at the Batmobile’s evolution in film. This is one of the most iconic cars ever created and over the years it has changed many times and has been driven by many actors. However, no matter how much it changes, you always know it belongs to Batman with just a glance. It is as much of a character as Batman himself. Check out all of it’s incarnations in this cool video with accompanying infographic.

Cool Star Wars Watercolor Prints

Cool Star Wars Watercolor Prints
You can find these cool prints at Etsy seller goldenplanetprints shop along with many other awesome pieces of art. These Star Wars watercolor prints look pretty amazing. I love how they all drip and fade to nothing. I’m not sure why that fascinates me so much, but I love seeing these characters in this way. It’s just very impactful and eye catching. Almost like they are being created or are dissolving before your eyes.

Cosmic Comics: A Geek Odyssey

Cosmic Comics A Geek Odyssey
This series titled “Cosmic Comics” takes some of our favorite Marvel characters and puts them against the backdrop of the cosmos. These already powerful superheroes look even more like Gods when floating through space. Several of them look as if they are in a reflective state of mind, as if contemplating the mere mortals of far off Earth.

This art is simple, yet powerful. It’s like 2001: A Space Odyssey and Marvel got together for a new series.

Famous Oldies: Old Superheroes By Alex Solis

Famous Oldies Old Superheroes By Alex Solis
All of our superheroes are either young or in their prime, but we rarely ever see old superheroes. They are perpetually young and strong. Well, not in this amazing art series from Chicago-based artist and illustrator Alex Solis. Here we see familiar heroes as senior citizens. Still super, just… Super old.

The series is titled Famous Oldies and that is just what they are, shown here wrinkles and all, still doing their thing. I’m just glad to see that they have not given up after all of these years.

H.R. Giger’s Japanese Ads For Pioneer

H.R. Giger's Japanese Ads For Pioneer
Some of you might remember this advertising campaign from 1985 when Japanese electronics company Pioneer hired H.R. Giger for an advertising campaign to promote the company’s new Zone system. They even made a television commercial that features one of Giger’s creatures. There were also two print advertisements.

I don’t know about you, but advertisements that feature Giger’s work certainly get my attention. This will either make you buy a Pioneer product or make you feel terrified. Maybe both.

Batman vs Superman: The Deadliest Villains

batman v superman deadliest villains
Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice will be released in theaters later this week, so Twizzle.co.uk has put together an infographic that takes a look at some of the fiercest villains that these two titans have faced over the years. It’s a fun look back at all of the bad guys from years gone by. Many of them are still around because, well comics.

“With the release of Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice just two weeks away, our Twizzlers are getting just a little bit excited! We know the basics of the storyline, however can’t wait to find out how the plot evolves and how the film ends up… we’re fairly sure it won’t be what we’re expecting!

With that in mind, we thought we’d take the time to put together an infographic which looks in a little more depth at the deadliest villains of the two superhero’s worlds!”
