New Robocop Posters I'd Buy That For A Dollar
RoboCop was a classic even in 1987. It has not only stood the test of time, but it has actually gotten better with age. The social commentary, the violence, the humor… It just works. On several levels. If you agree and want a tribute to this classic on your walls, this is the poster for you. It is from Grey Matter Art by Grzegorz Domaradzki. It will be available today in two editions. This poster really shines a light on the excessive violence of the film and is a great piece of art.

I’m really enjoying Tim Shumate’s geeky art. In his Etsy shop you can find art that covers everything from Gremlins, to X-Men, superheroes and more. The Gizmo piece that says “Hang in there” cracked me up. Below are just a few of our favorites, but you can find much more at his shop.

A lot of them are done in a cool tattoo-like pin-up style. If only I had enough room for all of these in my home. This is some really awesome work. I especially like those X-Ladies.

The Industrial Light & Magic website has shared a bunch of art from The Force Awakens. These images are from throughout the film’s development. The most interesting pieces are the ones from very early on in The Force Awakens’ development, when some things looked very different. Check out that weird folding TIE Fighter, which I love. That design actually makes a lot more sense if you ask me. There are lots of other cool things in these images, like two-man X-Wings for instance.

This Voltron character art by Josh Burns is excellent. Josh wanted to paint the Voltron pilots in a more realistic style than the cartoons. He definitely succeeded. I love seeing the characters reimagined like this. They have a ton of personality and they all come to life. These portraits include Princess Allura, Commander Keith, Lance, Pidge, Sven, Hunk, King Zarkon, and Queen Merla.

This cool art just makes us all want a Voiltron movie all the more. Maybe one day soon it will happen. I wouldn’t mind if it looked like this.

It’s amazing how well Star Wars characters work with Campbell’s Soup. This would have been an awesome marketing gimmick when The Force Awakens came out. It’s never too late Campbell’s! You can do it at any time.

Ever since Jim Henson went and created the special edition trilogy, nerds the world over have been debating over who shot first. Kermit or Greedo? Well, I’m here to tell you that Kermit shot first. He always shot first.

TARDIS Road
TARDIS Road is arguably the Doctor’s best album, with hits like: Davro’s Garden, She Came In Through The TARDIS Window and many more. Seriously, this is a fun mashup of The Beatles’ Abbey Road album cover and Doctor Who. It features all four New-Who Doctors and a bunch of cool Easter eggs. It makes me wish that these Doctors would form a band and release cool albums like this.

Chase Kunz is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Seattle, Washington and is responsible for these illustrations of Star Wars characters in retro suits. You can easily picture Boba Fett as a Don Draper type, working in an ad agency as he self-destructs. There’s also a Scout Trooper, Stormtrooper, Darth Vader and a Tie Pilot. It creates a vintage world where everyone has a Star wars head and something inside of me loves that concept.

DaVinci’s Dreams is working with French illustration duo Stan & Vince, to release a beautiful officially licensed screen print for James Cameron’s 1984 film, The Terminator. The illustrators have long loved this sci-fi classic and it shows. I really love the art on this print. It makes the movie come alive. This print will be available for sale in three editions TODAY on Monday, March 7th at 4:00pm GMT. I wouldn’t miss this one. Love that ultra edition!
