Deviantart user Slythenperior rendered this awesome 3D Dalek Chess set that I for one, would love to own. It’s perfect and shiny and captures the spirit of the Daleks so well. Check-Mate? More like Check-Exterminate!
I’ve included some of his other Dalek designs below. If I could have all of these wonderful toys I would be perfectly content to play as the bad guys all day and let someone else use the Doctor figures.
Start your morning right with a well balanced breakfast. Okay, these sugary cereals are anything but well balanced, but they are mischievously delicious. Just like with the cereals we grew up with, the artwork and the toys are the best part. I want the Infinity Gauntlet and Thor’s hammer.
Artists Bamboota and Elliot Fernandez certainly know their breakfast cereals. Some of these are available on T-shirts here.
“Leeloo Dallas mul-ti-pass.” Now here are a pair of accessories that are perfect for couples who are cosplaying Corbin Dallas and Leeloo. You can get your very own pair of multi-pass replicas from Etsy seller Cosplaycreative. How else are you gonna get through checkpoints?
You get 1 customized Leeloo Dallas Multipass and 1 customized Korben Dallas Multipass, with your images on them. They look good enough to fool any spaceport or other checkpoint. Perfect for your Fifth Element cosplay or for Halloween.
Deviantart user McQuade has several neat Star Wars Christmas cards that are getting us in the mood for a Star Wars Christmas. These colorful and humorous designs will crack you up and make you feel all warm and fuzzy.
Even Salacious B. Crumb looks like he’s having a good time. I think my favorite is Luke getting the Wampa action figure and telling the story of his encounter. The artist combines Christmas and Star Wars together perfectly. I may have to go and listen to Christmas In The Stars now.
Do you prefer your heroes and Sci-Fi characters to have a classical flair? Do you like to watch period pieces that feature the likes of Batman and Darth Vader? If they existed, you would watch it. And so would I? These amazing photographs will give you a taste of what that would be like.
Photographer Sacha Goldberger has put all of our favorites into Elizabethan costumes. Boba Fett, Captain America, Catwoman and plenty of others are all in period dress and posed in the artistic styles of the Dutch Renaissance. Goldberger calls the series “Super Flemish.” We like this one a lot.
If you have an away team mission that needs to beam down to a planet that has somehow evolved into a Victorian culture, but with more colorful clothing, you might want to visit Etsy seller loriann37 and outfit your crew appropriately.
These custom Star Trek Hoodies are colorful and stylish with nice wide hoods and cinched waists. They make your away team sexy. Now you can uncover the mystery in style and blend in.
How do you blow up the Death Star? Turns out it’s easy. It takes just 5 easy steps. Still think it sounds tough? This infographic will explain everything. Study it well. That way if you ever join the rebellion and go up against a Death Star you’ll know what to do.
This fun infographic is from Behance user Tyler Reed, who wants to make sure that everyone is armed with the knowledge.
Check out this batch of concept art from writer/director Neill Blomkamp’s Elysium. The story revolves around a factory worker whose destiny is to make his way into a man-made space station that is a utopia. Most of humanity lives on Earth. They are basically the lower class. The Elite live on Elysium, a space-station with all the luxuries and medical technology that are denied the other citizens.
It’s been a while since I saw this one, but the movie had it’s share of brilliant moments. It felt like an old Sci-Fi novel. Seeing this concept art makes me want to watch it all over again.
You have to love these colorful and geeky prints from Etsy seller GeekyPet. They replace all of the sci-fi and superhero icons that we love with felines, which in many cases, changes the way you look at these characters. They don’t take themselves too seriously, but all fit in nicely. In fact, it’s scary how well these cats do at replacing our heroes.
These fun and playful prints include Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, Batman and many more. Check out the Etsy shop to see them all. Jabba The Cat is probably my favorite.
I’m a big fan of Sci-Fi robots in general, but Twiki from Buck Rogers In The 25th Century has always had a special place in my heart. Behold the 1:1 Scale Replica of Buck’s little buddy. Sadly Dr. Theopolis is not with him, but that’s okay. All of the details are spot on. Besides, the creators are working on a version of him as well, so one day you can reunite them.
This replica is made from hand-cast urethane resin, with some nice looking stainless steel trim pieces and the head is even removable so you can position it how you like. He stands 48-inches tall and weighs in at 45 pounds! If that isn’t enough, this masterpiece also has a laser engraved and hand-numbered base plate. This limited edition collectible is must-have for Buck Rogers fans! Resident Dreamer Studios oversaw the creation of this replica, making it from available reference photos, screenshots, and measurements from Felix Silla’s screen worn costumes. This is as accurate as it is going to get.
