Star Trek: Discovery Teaser

Star Trek Discovery Teaser
The new Star Trek series now has a name. Star Trek: Discovery. That is also the name of the ship. Designation NCC-1031. I love that it is based on concept art that the legendary Ralph McQuarrie did for the first Trek motion picture. I’m not sure how I feel about this design yet though. Kinda love it, kinda hate it. The back section is reminiscent of an old Klingon ship. I like parts of the design. Like the red bits in front of the nacelles. The saucer is okay. The rest is… I just can’t see how they justify that this design would fit into Star Trek. The more I see it, the more I realize that that back end is pretty awful. Maybe it’s not the final design. Right? Maybe it’s a Klingon/Federation crew? It’s the only way this makes sense. I can get behind this, but it has to make sense.

Farscape Peacekeeper Kit
So you want to be a Peacekeeper and hassle the likes of John Crichton and the rest of the Farscape gang. Well, you could join up and go through boot camp, then work hard to rise up through the ranks until you are in command of a cool military base or starship. Or you could just get this Farscape Peacekeeper Kit.

This kit comes in a special hard carrying case and includes a Peacekeeper and 2 Farscape ID badges. Now you are a Peacekeeper. I just saved you a long and boring career. This is an awesome custom prop set.

The Continuing Influence of Batman: The Animated Series

Batman the animated series
Batman: The Animated Series is unique. It is like the keystone of the Batman franchise when you really analyze it. Kristian Williams did just that, looking at the whole of Batman, and came to the conclusion that everything led to Batman: The Animated Series. But more than that, this animated show incorporated everything that came before, and also shaped the character for everything that came after. And I totally agree. Check out the video here and see if you agree.

Lost In Space B-9 Robot (Antimatter Version) Electronic Action Figure

Lost In Space B-9 Robot (Antimatter Version) Electronic Action Figure
Warning, warning! Danger Will Robinson! The latest version of the B-9 robot from Lost in Space is a 10 inch Anti-Matter version from the episode “The Anti-Matter Man”. This figure has lights and sounds taken straight from the classic sci-fi TV show.

The lights on the head and chest blink constantly while the robot is on, and it also has other lights and “anti-matter” dialogue. Quotes include, “This is the opposite world,” “So you’re the goody-goody one,” and I” don’t need help from you, punk – get lost!” You can also manually raise and lower the head, open and close the claws, extend his arms and turn his torso to the left and right. He even rolls around! Lost in Space fans will want to add this one to their collection.
