Milan, Italy based artist Francesco Grandazzi created this fun mashup between the Star Wars universe and iconic Fashion, Luxury and Style brands. It really works quite well. I especially like what he did with the Polo brand, changing it to Solo and showing Han riding a Tauntaun.
I could see these as tags on Star Wars themed clothes from these companies. This is a fun way to play with branding and add some Star Wars flair. Francesco has a good eye for design.
Check out our favorite Star Wars characters as fashion icons. I guarantee that you have never seen Luke, Yoda and the rest of the gang like this before. This is the work of Taipei City, Taiwan based artist Bam! Bam! Bam! I really like what he did here. I love seeing some of my favorite heroes and villains in ways that I have never seen them before.
Even Chewy is getting in on the act and you don’t often see him wearing any clothes.
Sean Tourangeau is obviously a huge Hockey fan as well as being a geek. So he combined both of those passions to create this awesome set of geek themed Hockey jerseys. They include everything from a Star Trek team with Riker(Who is appropriately number 01) to Bruce Wayne’s jersey from the Gotham Bats. I especially like the Star Trek Red Shirts team jersey and the Transformer versions.
This reminds me that we need more geek-themed sports teams. Get on that DC and Marvel. And the rest of you. The players could cosplay while playing their sport.
UK based artist Bea Toa created this cool illustration that depicts Darth Vader’s helmet after R2-D2 borrowed it and gave it a makeover. The droid has a nice sense of humor and a great eye for art. R2’s work here actually gives us a look into the droid’s mind and it’s weird.
He obviously wants to be BFFs with Vader and even writes that he misses Vader and asks him to “Come back to us”. While at the same time, the droid gets his digs in with “Luke is a better pilot” and calling him a traitor. I guess R2 is one messed up droid. It’s awesome.
Artist Ben Murphy from Cork, Ireland says that this is the first of three mini-projects that is part of his 4th Year Project. The idea is to create the concept art for “Logan’s Run” as if it was being rebooted for this generation of moviegoers. From what I can see on his page, he did an amazing job. Below is just a sample of some of the work that he did.
I really like the costuming of the main characters, the vehicles and the guns. He has a pretty cool vision for what this world would be. I’d love to see his vision in movie form. Even in animation.
These pieces of One Point Perspective art by Italy based Van Orton Design are really colorful and amazing. And very retro. There is so much to love about these.
I could honestly get lost in some of these for hours. Featured are everything from Knight Rider to 2001: A Space Odyssey. I would love these as prints, but at least we get to feast our eyes on them here.

Kate Willaert researched, wrote, illustrated, and designed this cool infographic for HalloweenCostumes.com. It shows the progression of the Fantastic Four’s costumes throughout the years. Hardcore fans will likely know all of these, but newcomers may learn a thing or two. Try not to hold the latest movie against this superhero team.
Mélanie Torrecilla created these cool Marvel Superhero burger boxes probably because they wish they could get stuff like this at their local hamburger joint. Sadly, I wish I could too, but alas, Marvel superhero packaging in our fast food restaurants remains an elusive thing.
Come on people. You offer happy meals for kids. Why not special geek meals? I want a Hulk-Burger.
I can’t say that I have ever wondered what Marvel superheroes would look like as dogs, but artist Josh Lynch clearly has. So he created this art series to show the rest of us what is in his head. This series is super fun. I think he made all of the right casting choices.
It’s hard to pick a favorite. If these dogs were up for adoption I would have to take them all and create a super canine team.
