Artist Andi Ewington has created some very stunning Alternate Star Trek Discovery Posters that beat the hell out of the stuff CBS All Access was releasing when the show arrived. These posters are bold while keeping things slightly retro. They really get you excited for the show if you haven’t seen it yet. I would want to watch it right now based on these posters.
Remember the old Spy VS Spy comics? Imagine them with Star Wars characters. This fun illustration from artist Kaio Augusto is just perfect. It depicts Han and Boba Fett Spy VS Spy style, about to duel. How much do you want to bet Boba turns and fires prematurely, trying to cheat? I love everything about this art. I hope Kaio does more in this style.
The beautiful artwork celebrates our favorite Heroines in some candid moments. I love the innocence and bright colors in this series, and these images feel as if I’m seeing these characters for the first time. Limetown Studios has done an amazing job on these. Featured are Supergirl, Gwenpool, Wonder Woman, Storm, Batgirl and Spider-Gwen.
We didn’t get to see what it was like for Han and Leia to raise little Kylo Ren, but it is easy to imagine that he was a little terror. This hilarious piece of art is from Jason Cartoons and it shows just a bit of what Chewbacca had to go through when babysitting this little tyrant.
Loving these kitschy Retro Superhero Illustrations by Diego Riselli. I have always admired the style and colors of this type of art from a much simpler time. They are a lot of fun. Some of our favorites are below, but you can check out his page for more.
Wubba lubba dub dub. Rick and Morty vs Xenomorphs by Matt Akin. The aliens don’t stand a chance. Neither does Jerry. Obviously. I would love to see this in a Rick and Morty episode.
If the Doctor had a coat of arms, it would look like this one. This cool Doctor Who Coat of Arms art is the work of Daniel Clark. I can see this displayed somewhere in the TARDIS for sure. It features the 10th and 11th Doctor’s Sonic Screwdrivers over a shield with the TARDIS inside. Above it reads The Oncoming Storm. I would totally wear this as a T-shirt or hang it up in my room. Ecto 1 in all it’s glory. Hovering as it rides into the future. At least, that’s what I think of when I see this amazing image from Dmitry Novitskiy. Back to the Future meets Ghostbusters. This is one of the best movie cars of all time.
This fun series from artist Raikchak Ha Reang shows us what Marvel and DC comics heroes would look like with beards. I thought it was appropriate since this is No Shave November. These Bearded Heroes all look more manly, that’s for sure. Those are some strong facial hair choices. Each has their logo beneath. I’m not sure if the Hulk looks calmer or angrier with his beard. And Deadpool being Deadpool, has a very unique way of decorating his.
