This cosplay makes it easy to see how Ivy has so much power over plant life. I would be drawn to her as well. Purelight Cosplay looks radiant and stunning as Bombshell Poison Ivy in these images. That costume is amazing and all of the colors are just gorgeous. I said she looked radiant. That must be the photosynthesis under her skin. The soundtrackfor Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is one of those soundtracks that I have listened to about a million times. The score by the late James Horner is just perfect.

We’re really loving this Superhero art from Corey Smith. This small collection of superhero art is fun and done in a cartoon style. I could totally see some Superhero cartoons done in this style. I would watch it. Especially the Superman show. Too bad such cartoons don’t exist right now. Corey, you need to animate these.
Here we have Wolverine, Luke Cage, Superman and Captain America. These pieces all have so much character. Although I’m not sure what the deal is what Captain America’s neck. There’s also a cool zombie hunter.
This fun video shows off how robots evolved in movies and TV. Nowadays Sci-Fi flicks just aren’t complete unless they feature robots. That’s cool, because we love robots around here. Some of the best movies of all time have robots. The artwork is from Scott Park and Sploid turned his work into a cool video.

Maid of Might Cosplay is responsible for this latest Disney/Boba fett winning combo. That Little Mermaid Mandalorian armor looks pretty awesome.

We really love art that makes us look at familiar sci-fi icons in a whole new way. Kevin Greene does exactly that, taking famous sci-fi characters and giving them makeovers as caricatures as if painted by some European street artist. All of their features are exaggerated and accentuated. We love it.
You can enjoy all of these images and many more in his book called Heroes and Villains: The Sci-Fi Caricature Art of Kevin Greene. These images are fun and colorful and not at all how we normally see these characters.
Albert Nguyen has reimagined Star Wars, by merging it with history from our own galaxy. He uses historical paintings for inspiration and places Star Wars characters within them. You might recognize Emanuel Leutze’s Washington Crossing the Delaware, or the historic photo Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima photographed by Joe Rosenthal.
It is a fun series that lets us see these characters in a whole new light. Many of them are made to look like old personal photographs. Also included is Boba Fett in place of Clint Eastwood in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
