Lilo And Stitch Dressed As Pop Culture Characters

Artist Jonathan Hallett leaves us in stitches with this cool series featuring Lilo and Stitch as several famous pop culture characters. I especially love Stitch looking extra evil as the Joker. Jonathan created these for Comic-Con and they are sold at his Artist’s Alley booth. I’m sure he sold a lot of them, because they are just so playful and awesome. After seeing this series, I vote for more Stitch as everyone!

Photographer Recreates War Scenes With Action Figures

The Galactic Warfighters series is something that everyone should see. Matthew Callahan inserts Star Wars figures into realistic combat photography. This is some pretty amazing and powerful work and now a short film sheds some light into the process.

This film was produced by Joseph DiGIrolamo, who interviews Callahan and shows us how he creates these stunning images. Matthew uses Sideshow Collectible figures for these shots and they are so real looking that they will blow you away.

Fun Geek Mashup Prints

These fun mashup prints from CalebPaullus put a new spin on some of our favorite movies and TV shows. Oh yes, video games too. You gotta love that Jar Jar Hunt game. If that existed, I would be playing it daily.

Some of our favorites are below, like Bob’s Burgers with Bob Belcher as Indiana Jones, The Force Awakens done in Adventure Time style and a retro Guardians of the Galaxy mashup, but the seller has many more. These are all fun tributes to several awesome geek franchises.

These Retro Pop Style Marvel Movie Posters are bold, bright and eye-popping. French artist Florent Zimmermann knows how to catch the viewer’s attention. As bright and bold as they are, the actual characters are barely seen in many of these, yet the style of each piece shouts their identity loud and clear. They are all incorporate panels in the background, like an actual comic book page.

Captain Aloha and The Invincible Iron Tiki

This is a fun new series from Deviantartist nrugs4. Meet Captain Aloha and The Invincible Iron Tiki! He says that these two pieces are the first in a long series that combines Hawaiian culture and superheroes!

I think he’s really onto something big here. This is a very original idea and the two themes merge beautifully. I can’t wait to see the other heroes in this series. I’m also hoping that he offers prints at some point, because these are awesome.

Truly Impressive Scratch Built Battlestar Galactica Rag-Tag Fleet

Philip Cocking has been creating his very own Battlestar Galactica Rag-Tag Fleet and it looks mighty awesome. All of the ships in the video below are scratch built. I am kind of at a loss for words as to how envious I am of his talent. These ships are an obvious labor of love and I wish I could have a fleet like this in my home. Philip, you are my new hero. Keep adding to that fleet and I hope they find Earth!

Super Drunk – Superhero Beer Designs

Super Drunk is a fun set of beer bottle designs inspired by Superheroes and characters from comics. All of your favorites are here, with their very own beer brands. Wolverine, Deadpool, Hell Boy, even Marv from Sin City.

The designs are awesome and if they were real, they would sell out in no time. These were created by illustrator Butcher Billy. I would love to see the commercials that would accompany these beers in the real world. Deadpool and Wolverine would kill it in the ads.
