There have been rumors that a new Superman is being cast, but looking at this image from artist Dalton Barrett should make it clear that Cavill is a great Superman. He just needs better writing from people who actually know what Superman is all about. I love this image of Cavill wearing the Superman costume from the June 1938 Action Comics #1.
