Epson Star Wars Smart Canvas Watches

These watches remind me of some of the cool watches I had back in the 80’s. In Japan Epson’s Smart Canvas limited edition wristwatches with E-ink screens are a super hot thing. You can see why. The latest addition to this line is based on Star Wars. You can get these watches in four flavors, each with a different band and display graphics. You can get Darth Vader, C-3PO, a Stormtrooper and R2-D2.

These watches feature a few different display modes. Story mode will show shots from the original trilogy along with the time. Vehicle mode focuses on vehicles of course. Or you can simply display the time. Lastly, there’s a temperature mode that changes the display based on temp. I just love the classic look of the screens. I need these watches!

These Geeky Notebooks Are Made From Upcycled VHS Tapes

I’ve always been a huge fan of VHS box cover art, just like I’ve always been a fan of the covers of vintage Sci-Fi novels. Each are a product of their own era. Well, if you appreciate the art that accompanied your favorite movies on VHS, check out these cool notebooks from PortElizabethVillage.

LEGO can create all kinds of amazing things. Buildings, statues, you name it and LEGO has been a part of it. You can even create portraits with LEGO. Like these awesome LEGO Mosaics from Oxfordbrickart. Using LEGO bricks as pixels to create art looks really amazing. You can actually buy these to hang in your home.

The seller has Stormtroopers, Daleks from Doctor Who, Batman and many more geek characters. These mosaics look amazing. I would love to hang these all over my house.

These Alien Big Chap Mini Figures Come In Some Odd Poses

Kotobukiya has unveiled some new Alien mini figures, in some unexpected poses. How about a Xenomorph in a meditation pose? Or doing a headstand? Yeah, I don’t remember seeing either of those things happen in the movies. How about an alien laying on his stomach with his hands on his chin? There are six different poses in all: hanging, sitting, prone, squat, headstand, and yoga.

You can check out all the poses on their Facebook page. These are weird, but also kind of cool. They have to be good for a laugh if they are on your desk right? They will be available in April of 2016.
