This one really cracked me up. This Star Wars Hoth Pendulum Clock has a swinging Luke Skywalker as the pendulum. We have waited long enough. Now we finally have a trailer for Star Trek: Discovery. I really like what I see, but at the same time, in a way, it doesn’t feel like Star Trek. That may be a good thing. Time will tell. This is a great first trailer in any event and I want to see more. A couple of things: The Klingons are… Strange. What’s with the lens flares? Between that and other visual cues, this feels like New-Trek. Hmmmm. The level of technology and polished look of everything seems off for just 10 years before Kirk and Crew. Still, I’ll see where they take things before I complain too loudly.
These Doctor Who shoes are comfier on the inside! Which is good, because if these shoes were bigger on the inside, you would fall in. Then you would be in real trouble. They feature scenes from the 12th Doctor’s clock themed intro. Pretty sweet. I can hear that theme music now. Some special lady is going to look amazing in these shoes.
Eric Pautz created these lovely Star Wars Abstractions styleframes for a short animation that was never finished. It was meant to be an abstract story set in the Star Wars universe. These frames are beautiful. I would have loved to see the animation. You can see more of them on his Behance page.
No mercy, no peace. 20th Century Fox has released the final trailer for War for the Planet of the Apes and there is certainly more war in this War For The Planet Of The Apes trailer. This is the third film in the rebooted Planet of the Apes series that began with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The humans and the apes are fighting to the death for who gets the planet. The movie is set to hit theaters on July 14th, 2017.

We are all still waiting for the latest season of Rick and Morty, but at least we have this crossover short in the meantime. Rick and Morty crossover into Ridley Scott’s Alien franchise, where we get to see that Rick’s drinking and drugging is really paying off. This cross-promotion with Alien: Covenant is just awesome. Of course, anything with Rick Sanchez is awesome. Just the way it is.
