The Batmobile Almost Had A Cameo in Cars 3

The Batmobile Almost Had A Cameo in Cars 3
Pixar’s cars franchise isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but had the batmobile shown up, I would have checked out Cars 3 for sure. Well, that almost happened, believe it or not. In a recent interview with Screen Junkies, director Brian Fee talks about an early draft where Lightning McQueen goes to a Hollywood party that would have been full of movie stars, including two different generations of Batmobiles. Obviously, that scene didn’t make the final film, but it would have been a very cool moment. You can check out the interview below.

Star Trek: Discovery Gets A Premiere Date

Star Trek: Discovery Gets A Premiere Date
CBS All Access has announced that Star Trek: Discovery will premiere on Sunday, September, 24th. They even released a motion poster that you can check out below. It features the U.S.S. Discovery in flight.

Other news is that the 15-episode first season will be split into two. The first eight episodes will air on Sundays from September 24th through November 5th. The season then will resume in January 2018. I’m trying to keep an open mind about this show, but they make it hard. It just seems like they are failing on every level here. BUT, fingers crossed that somehow it is a good Star Trek. I can’t see how, but one can only hope.

Comic Book Covers Recreated Using Balloons

Comic Book Covers Recreated Using Balloons
Comic book cover art is awesome. They use a variety of styles, but have you ever seen comic book covers that are made from balloons? These awesome balloon sculptures as comic book covers were created by Phileas Flash. They take days to make and the pieces themselves fit into a 10 foot by 10-foot space. Then photoshop is used to add the letters which are also balloons. I love all of the detail that he gets with this unusual medium.

The Fifth Element Eclectic Method Remix

The Fifth Element Eclectic Method Remix
Luc Besson’s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets comes out later this year, and it looks like it may be a classic along the same lines as The Fifth Element, which was a sci-fi thriller that is timeless and has become apart of pop culture. So much so that Eclectic Method has created a very cool remix using moments from the film. It is perfect. I love the use of the multi-pass in this cool video.
