Hot Toys presents Spider-Man from Spider-Man: Homecoming in his high-tech suit that Tony Stark gave him. This action figure is impressive to say the least. Spider-Man comes to life in this figure. It comes with literally everything: four sets eyepieces, an alternate unmasked head that looks like actor Tom Holland, five pairs of hands, an unworn mask, a pair of “web-wings” so he can fly, a neat spider-web effect, five spider-strings, his backpack, a textbook, and a pair of headphones. See? They even throw in the headphones. That stuff is in addition to that superiorly sculpted and detailed suit.
The Deluxe version comes with an an additional school blazer, a zip-up hoodie, plus Vulture’s helmet! I know where my money is going.

Not so long ago in a galaxy quite nearby… Matt Ferguson created this awesome Guardians of the Galaxy poster based on the classic vintage Star Wars poster. It is so awesome. Enough said.

She may not look like much, but she’s got strings where it counts. Just when you thought you’ve seen everything, we have a genuine Millennium Falcon Violin. Perfect for playing Han (violin) Solos. Actually, I lied. It doesn’t have strings, so you can’t actually play it. But boy is this a conversation piece. The artist did create it around a real violin though and the engines light up with blue LEDs. If you buy it, just don’t stop your concert at the first sign of Imperial trouble.

These Custom Star Wars Rhinestone Heels are bold and impressive. One features a Rebel theme and the other an Imperial theme. Forget choosing the light side or the dark side. Just put one foot in front of the other and choose both.

Give the female Doctor Who fan in your life the gift of Doctor Who all over their legs. Yes, I’m aware that that sounded scandalous, perhaps even dirty, but no, I’m talking about these cool Doctor Who Printed Tights. Not William Hartnell fondling your legs. They have printed text and symbols, come in several color options and look fantastic.

Wow. Kilory does an amazing job on this Wonder Woman cosplay. She looks fantastic. You know what they say, if you can’t get Gal Gadot, get Kilory instead. No, they don’t say that, but they should. She completely owns it and could actually be Wonder Woman. No question about it. The costume is near perfect and the photos taken by Phillysia are great. This is just so perfect.

75 Years of DC Comics: The Art of Modern Mythmaking is a definitive look at the history of DC Comics. It is written by 38-year comic book veteran Paul Levitz and is 720 pages of comic book history. This is going to be an amazing read for a geek like myself. You can purchase it right now from Amazon.
In 1935, DC Comics founder Major Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson published New Fun No. 1–the first comic book with all-new, original material–at a time when comic books were mere repositories for the castoffs of the newspaper strips. What was initially considered to be disposable media for children was well on its way to becoming the mythology of our time–the 20th century’s answer to Atlas or Zorro.
More than 40,000 comic books later, TASCHEN has produced the single most comprehensive book on DC Comics. More than 2,000 images–covers and interiors, original illustrations, photographs, film stills, and collectibles–are reproduced using the latest technology to bring the story lines, the characters, and their creators to vibrant life as they’ve never been seen before. Telling the tales behind the tomes is 38-year DC veteran Paul Levitz, whose in-depth essays trace the company’s history, from its pulp origins through to the future of digital publishing, alongside year-by-year timelines and biographies of DC legends.
The original XL edition of 75 Years of DC Comics was winner of the 2011 Eisner Comic Industry Award for Best Comics-Related Book of the Year. This new edition brings you all the same DC glory in a more compact format.

Marvel Studios has released a new Black Panther teaser trailer for the new Black Panther movie and it looks both fresh and awesome. It is nice to see that they are apparently not just doing the same old thing. It looks like a lot of thought went into this. I love the look of the film so far, based on this teaser at least. It looks like a fun movie.
Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.
The film will be released on February 16, 2018.
