Man Of Steel Inspired Medieval Armor

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will arrive next month, but let’s not forget where the recent Superman reboot began. Zack Snyder’s 2013 film Man of Steel. That movie inspired this cool Man of Steel armor, designed by Samuel Lee of Prince Armory. I love that Kryptonian symbol on the front, which is the focal point of this leather-constructed recreation of old medieval-style armor.

This armor includes a cool helmet too. That’s right, it is all leather and it looks like it came straight out of some concept art for the film. This is an amazing creation.

Mega Bloks Reveals New Star Trek Playsets And Kubrons Figures

Check out these cool new Star Trek toys from Mega Bloks. They have unveiled several new sets from their Star Trek construction toy range. A lot of these are based on specific episodes and key locations, which seems to work really well judging by the images here. They also revealed a range of Kubrons figurines. Those are like Pop Vinyl figs, but with bricks. These all look pretty awesome.

These Jedi Disney Princesses Are Fierce

Artist Phill Berry is responsible for this series of Disney Princesses as Jedi from the Star Wars universe. All of these women look so badass and I love the style. Phill has a very unique take on this mashup theme which you have probably seen done before. When Phill does it, he injects a unique style and level of detail into his work that makes each of these pieces come alive. It would be awesome if Disney merged there two franchises into something like this.

Star Trek USS Enterprise A Drone

2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the Star Trek franchise, and to celebrate Spin Master is unleashing a quadcopter drone that is a flying version of the USS Enterprise. The Enterprise A to be exact. All of the details are here. It has the saucer, the nacelles, even working lighting and ten sound effects. The spinning rotors are in the saucer section.

This drone would be fun to fly around, but I would want a Klingon version too so I could simulate space battles. It will arrive this year for about $120.

Thor’s Hammer Tool Kit Concept Art

I’m amazed that this has not been thought of before. This is a brilliant idea and whoever makes it would make a ton of money. It is just a cool concept for the moment created by Dave’s Geeky Ideas. It is a toolkit that resembles Thor’s Mjolnir, allowing you to carry your tools in the mightiest way possible.

It has storage for several tools and an actual hammer with a handle resembling Thor’s Mjolnir sticks out to complete the illusion that you are carrying the mighty weapon.

Glamorous Gamora Hair

I’ve seen a lot of women with beautiful hair, but I have to say this Gamora inspired hair is really lovely. I’m not sure you can just walk into a salon and say, “Give me the Gamora!”, but however you ladies do it, I’d like to see more of this. At least you know that Samantha Richards will do it for you. She is a geek who does beautiful work.

Star Trek Tridimensional Chess Set

The tridimensional chess set is coming back. It will be released by Wood Expressions. They are resurrecting the Franklin Mint TOS tridimensional chess set that was released in the 1990s. It certainly is a beautiful replica to have in your home. It must be one of the loveliest pieces of Trek merchandise there is. This set will include gold and silver plated pieces.

There’s the sonic screwdriver, a cyberman, a Dalek and the TARDIS. These put me in the mood to play an old Doctor Who video game. It’s too bad that my choices are severely limited.
