Producer Felipe Haurelhuk and editor Fabrício Carvalho, along with Darth Blender created this cool animated version of the Avengers Infinity War trailer. I would watch this for sure. It looks like fun. It is a very clever use of clips from 1990s animated television shows like Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, and The Avengers. Check out the real trailer below for comparison.
We are all excited about Avengers: Infinity War, so while we are waiting, check out this fun retro mashup trailer. This one is a must watch. It’s a mashup of footage from a bunch of classic superhero movies from the 80s and 90s. What a star studded cast! This should give fans a chuckle. Now back to waiting for Infinity War.
The importance of Ralph McQuarrie’s original concept art for Star Wars can not be understated. It still influences the designs and creatures we see in the films, in comics, and on TV. His legacy lives on. This fan film is a lovingly made trailer that brings McQuarrie’s art to life to show us a Star Wars we never got to see. It is so well done and beautiful. It’s nice to see that people still appreciate McQuarrie’s work after all of these years.

Netflix has released the first trailer for their cyberpunk sci-fi series Altered Carbon. Spoiler alert: It looks awesome! Altered Carbon is based on Richard K. Morgan’s 2002 cyberpunk novel, which is set 500 years in the future. This is apparently the most expensive series that Netflix has produced yet. It certainly looks beautiful. The series will be released on Friday, February 2nd. At last a Blade Runner-esque series!

Check out this cool and retro Justice League VHS Trailer. This one looks like it could genuinely exist on a VHS tape. They got all of the grainy details just right. The music, the narration and the editing are all pitch perfect. It really delivers the nostalgia while making you want to see the new Justice League movie.
So Mattel recreates the Justice League trailer with some scenes where action figures replace the heroes. It sounds like a cool winning combo, but it’s not. It’s weird guys. It tries to do what fan trailers do, but they miss the mark on almost every level. It just comes off half-hearted, but maybe that’s just me. What do you guys think? Do you like it?
Lucasfilm has released a new TV spot for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and it has some cool new footage! Like Luke Skywalker walking into the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon for instance. And is that Rey raising her lightsaber against Luke Skywalker? That’s not going to end well. Probably just clever editing. The excitement continues to build.
