The Leviathan Teaser Trailer

This proof of concept trailer is pretty mind blowing. The Leviathan is a sci-fi monster movie from Oscar-nominated director Ruairí Robinson. We hope this ends up being made, because it is awesome! He created this short trailer in order to convince others that he has a strong vision for this movie. Movies like this aren’t cheap after all.

It’s about humans who hunt giant flying whale creatures above the clouds with laser blasters and other weapons. All I can say is, give us 2 more hours of this please! Check it out below and let us know what you think.

By the early 22nd century mankind had colonized many worlds. Faster than light travel was made possible by harvesting exotic matter from the eggs of the largest species mankind has ever seen. Those that take part in the hunt are mostly involuntary labor.

Re-Cut Trailer For Blade Runner’s UK Re-Release

Blade Runner just never gets old. It is the perfect movie and after all of these years, it is still worth watching and if you do so, you can still spot all kinds of stuff that you missed before. If you live in the UK, next month you will get the chance to see Blade Runner: The Final Cut on the big screen when BFI re-releases it in theaters.

This amazing trailer has been cut to promote the event and it is an amazing cut indeed. Check it out for yourself and see if you agree. The film will be re-released across the UK on April 3rd.

By Your Command: NBC Battlestar Galactica Sizzle Reel

January 2nd was National Science Fiction day. NBC actually did something cool to celebrate. They created this recut trailer for the original Battlestar Galactica. It is awesome. It makes me want to dust this series off and watch the whole thing again.

If they released this trailer today for a new show on NBC, do you have any idea how much money they would make? Let’s get back to making some amazing Sci-Fi on TV guys. This trailer made my day. The original BSG had everything. Robots, space battles, overacting, Robot dogs and more. I miss you original Battlestar Galactica.

2001: A Space Odyssey Trailer With Rare Test Footage

A rare trailer for Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey has surfaced online. The trailer was released about a year before the film opened in 1968. That’s why it has a bunch of concept art and test footage. None of the finished scenes were ready at the time. As you can see that didn’t stop them from promoting the movie so they could get people excited about it.

The District 9 Theatrical Trailer Gets A Paper Reboot

If you enjoyed Neil Blomkamp’s 2009 sci-fi masterpiece District 9, you will get a kick out of this District 9 theatrical trailer recreated in paper. It is sure to put a smile on your face and make your day. It’s like the creators of South Park have sweded the movie.

This humorous and very well done parody trailer is the work of Tim Kent. Great work Tim.
