It took four years to build, but Adam Savage’s Fifth Element Zorg ZF-1 replica project is finally finished! Guess what? It looks just as badass as it did in the movie. Check out the video where Adam explains the long journey and details every step of it’s creation. Man, I wish I had one to display. I love that gun.

I’ve seen a lot of R2-D2 mugs over the years, but this design is elegant and clean. It is a mug worthy of the droid and perfect for my morning coffee. Now if only I had a droid to actually make my coffee and bring it to me. Still waiting on that. Hurry up technology.

This awesome Star Trek themed poster recreates the 007 Live and Let Die poster, with James T. Kirk in place of James Bond. Now titled, Live and Let Prosper, it shows Kirk with his phaser in hand, along with an Orion slave girl. It is just too awesome for words.

Disney and Lucasfilm have unveiled the first batch of character posters for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and they are pretty striking. They show the members of the Rebellion and the Empire with the blueprints of the Death Star on their faces. I wish all posters were this cool. Too bad we can’t buy these to hang on our walls. They are just such compelling and powerful images.

Chris Pratt and Jennifer lawrence are about to have an awesome romance/adventure in the upcoming Passengers. It’s about two people who mysteriously wake up from hibernation on a spaceship way too early only to face a disaster soon after. The movie actually looks pretty fun and Pratt and Lawrence look like they work great together. They have been trying to make this movie for years and soon we will finally get a chance to see it.
We’re blown away by these awesome scifi posters from Craig Drake. Recently, the artist had his third solo show with art from a whole bunch of scifi properties. It sounds like it was quite the event. The entrance had themed drinks and lighting that matched Ex Machina’s dance scene. Inside, many of the posters were illuminated with LEDs. There was even a real 1966 Batmobile. Now I’m sorry I missed it, but at least we can admire his amazing art.
