So many things from 2001: A Space Odyssey are memorable: HAL 9000, The Pod, the Monolith. I have seen this movie about a thousand times and I am still impressed by all of the design work. Another memorable thing is the space suit. I just love how it looks. And the colors too.

Well, now you can own a 1:6 scale replica. The 2001: A Space Odyssey Blue Discovery Astronaut 1:6 Scale Space Suit is highly detailed and a real beauty. I for one, would love to have this displayed on my desk.

I really miss Farscape, so I was excited to come across this painting based on the show. This painting was inspired by the painting on Farscape in season 1 that Zan makes of Rygel. It was made using over a dozen screen captures that were put together and carefully taken apart, then reassembled one color at a time to make it as accurate as possible. They did an awesome job.

They already make the most realistic 12-inch action figures anywhere, but that isn’t enough, now Hot Toys has announced that they will be making a new scale of figure. Life-sized action figures. That’s right. What you see here is a 7-foot, 2-inch figure. Next they will be cloning the actors and offering living life-sized figures. Give them a few decades.

The eyes light up, it has a BvS logo base and as usual it is incredibly detailed. We don’t know when Hot Toys will release this huge figure,but the price will be out of my reach, I know that much.

Martin Creaney is an artist who works in wood, but that is an understatement. What he does is create masterpieces like this handmade Millennium Falcon. It’s made from over 3, 000 pieces, each piece individually worked. Just look at all of that fantastic detail. If Han was a carpenter, this would be his ship. I don’t even know if that makes any sense, I’m just blown away by this magnificent ship.
