Hot Wheels recently released a set of six cars in their Pop Culture range which feature TOS characters on retro vehicles. You can find them on Amazon right now. The whole gang is here and these cars are fun collectibles with some pretty cool graphics. I think I may have to collect all of these.
IKON is an upcoming solo art show by urban art and graffiti illustrator Nychos of Rabbit Eye Movement at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery in New York City. It will feature some of his new dissection artwork where pop culture characters like Darth Vader, Batman, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and more get sliced up so we can see what is inside.
It’s not for everyone, but I find it fascinating how he finds various different ways to dissect these fictional characters. It’s weird for sure, but interesting. Check out just a few below and you can find more at his website.

So it’s great that you can buy them as prints from his Etsy shop because these are the kind of prints I have to have once I see them. Colombia based artist Lina Ruiz created this colorful and fun Vector Illustrations based on Science Fiction and Fantasy properties. The designs are simple and to the point, with great colors and iconic imagery. The artist covers everything from the Death Star to Ghostbusters in this series. Click the link above to see more.

Artist Jonathan Hallett leaves us in stitches with this cool series featuring Lilo and Stitch as several famous pop culture characters. I especially love Stitch looking extra evil as the Joker. Jonathan created these for Comic-Con and they are sold at his Artist’s Alley booth. I’m sure he sold a lot of them, because they are just so playful and awesome. After seeing this series, I vote for more Stitch as everyone!
This Paint Splatter Villain art from Arian Noveir somehow makes these comic book villains even more menacing, as if they are half-formed and coming out of the shadows. The Joker is particularly menacing.
Featured here are Black Cat, Poison Ivy, Red Skull, Harley Quinn, Spawn, Venom, 2 Jokers and Magneto. I really love how ethereal these all feel. Like ghosts that come calling in the night.
If you practice the art of cross stitching, you’ll want to check out some of the patterns that StitchBucket has in their Etsy shop. You can choose from all kinds of geek cars and vehicles. Like the Ghostbuster’s Ecto-1, the Batmobile, X-Wing Fighters and more. I don’t know anything about cross stitching, but if I did, I would totally download these patterns and create some cool stitchery.
I love robots. They’ve been a part of my life growing up. They have been a large part of my adult life as well. In childhood I hung with R2-D2 and C-3PO, and as I got older I had fun with bots like Robocop, Terminator and Wall-E. They weave a thread through my sci-fi loving life. That’s probably why I love this charming poster from artist Derek Sullivan where he honors some of pop cultures greatest robots. This 18″ x 24″ print is just awesome.

She does Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Rogue, Lara Croft, Power Girl, Tinkerbell, The Bride of Frankenstein, and more. I have to say, she looks fabulous no matter who she is dressed as. Roger is one lucky rabbit!
