This is a very intriguing art series. One that I hope artist Vyacheslav Sivun expands upon. This series shows what a few of of favorite pop-culture characters would look like in a post apocalyptic world. Now that I’ve seen Harley Quinn, The Punisher, Boba Fett and Link, I want to see more. What would a Darth Vader look like in a Mad Max world? Or Mr. Spock. What about Groot? I really hope he adds some more characters so we can continue to populate this world.

Iain Heath makes some unusual LEGO pop culture characters. They aren’t highly detailed things of beauty, but rather deformed and ugly representations of Geek characters that we all know. This gives them a funny edge and makes them all the more awesome. Hit the link to check out the rest of his Rejectz series. He has even added some funny captions.

GeekStreetShop is home to all kinds of cool geek items, but these hand towels really caught our eye. These Embroidered Hand Towels feature all kinds of pop culture characters and designs. There are superheroes, video games like The Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Transformers and more. These will brighten up your bathroom or kitchen counter and add some fun to your home. Below are just a few, but the shop has many more to choose from.

SagittariusGallery adds all kinds of pop culture references to Van Gogh’s classic Starry Night. Characters like Stewie from Family Guy, ships like TIE Fighters and much more. It’s simply what Van Gogh would have done if he were a geek living in the modern age. Or at least, that’s what I like to think. It combines the best of pop culture with fine art.

This looks delicious and I’m not even a mighty Sarlacc Pit. Chocolate + Boba Fett = Boblerone. Genius. Delicious genius. Sadly, this mashup of everyone’s favorite triangular Swiss chocolate bar and the Mandalorian bounty hunter is not edible. It is an awesome resin figure designed by Tattoo Dave and produced by Made by Cooper. Great. Now I’m hungry. Just heard my mighty Sarlacc Pit roar.

These amazing stained glass geek portraits are from TheStainedGlassCo and they feature some of our favorite pop culture characters. They are pretty pricey at several thousand dollars each, but totally worth it. They will make your house look like a religious geek cathedral. Some of our favorites are below, but check out their shop, because they make all kinds of cool things.

The USPS has been in financial trouble for a long time now, but if they actually made stamps that looked like this, they would make a fortune selling them to nerds like me and you. These images by Clark Orr are posters, postcards and also the subject of a new art exhibit at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles called Pop Culture Postage. Orr turned some of the most iconic films, TV and comics of all-time into amazing looking, though sadly not real stamps. See the rest here.

Robert Xavier Burden is an amazing painter who combines toy collecting and art. The paintings he creates are massive and highly detailed Renaissance-style oil paintings. They will blow you away. The toys featured in his work are treated with reverence as if they are holy things. And they are. Nostalgia is spirituality in these works. A temple. They could easily decorate any holy place. Check out some of his work below and hit up his website for more.

BlueCrabMagnets has a store full of all of the coolest magnets you can dream up for your fridge, file cabinet, or wherever. These Geeky Cereal Box Fridge Magnets are awesome. You can see a few below, but make sure you check out their shop for many many more. They include real cereal boxes and others that never existed. You can choose from Star Wars, E.T., Gremlins and many many more. I was reminded of several cereals from my childhood that I had forgotten about completely.
