Batman knows all about fighting clowns. He fights the Clown Prince of Crime all the time. He’s kind of an expert of fighting weirdos with face paint. Now he is going up against Pennywise in this fun new fan-made trailer from Adeel of Steel. It uses footage from Batman v Superman mixed with 2017’s It. Who else are you going to trust to fight the clown menace?
This is a great Star Wars parody of MasterClass trailers where Jabba the Hutt teaches a class on comedy. I always knew that Jabba was misunderstood. It was all about the comedy. Now I get that. This is Jabba’s first online course, and you get this legendary insult comics years of comic industry experience. What are you waiting for?
Fox has released a new trailer for the sci-fi comedy series The Orville. The series comes from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane and it’s basically a Star Trek parody similar to Galaxy Quest. The more I see, the more that I am excited about this one. Way more excited than I am for the new Star Trek: Discovery series. This is the trailer that was screened at Comic-Con this past weekend. The show is going to be a funny and wild ride.

1990s superhero films were mostly bad. Sure you had Tim Burton’s Batman Returns, but we also had horrible shows like Lois and Clark: the Adventures of Superman. That was such a waste of air time. So, what would Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman have looked like in the 90s? YouTuber Frank Ireland has the answers with a concept trailer of what Batman v Superman and the DCEU might have looked like if they had existed in the 1990s. It’s bad. It’s weird. John Cusack as Superman, Bruce Willis as Batman. It’s not dark and brooding. It is actually bright and silly. Which is something that the modern version could have used quite frankly.

While fans are waiting for Star Trek Discovery to hit the airwaves, we have something that looks just as awesome in it’s own right. Seth MacFarlane’s Star Trek spoof, The Orville. Fox just released the first trailer for the show. It’s very Galaxy Quest. The Captain and first officer are a divorced couple, which should add an interesting dynamic. I love the humor that I’m seeing so far. Who knows, this may even turn out to be a better show than Star Trek: Discovery. All we really know about that show is that it seems to have problem after problem and so far, a failure to launch.

Peter Korbaš is responsible for these charming Simpsons illustrations that mashes up the town of Springfield with Star Wars. This Star Wars mashup features Bart, Lisa and Maggie wielding lightsabers. I just hope that he adds more characters because I would love to see them fighting Mr.Burns.
