We told artist Badanklebill our idea for a Star trek inspired take on Topps’ classic Wacky Packages and he did not disappoint. These products and companies feature some of your Trek favorites mashed up with brand names and products we have all seen. Though we will never see them in the same way again. We have Q peddling Q-Tips, Borger King advertising their new Assimi-Latte, Gorn Giant Vegetables, 7-11 of 9, and Klingles. If only these were real stickers!
Aldo Jones loves making weird trailers and his latest weird trailer takes the footage from the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame and fills it with all kinds of insanity. This trailer is also is a lot longer than the original trailer at almost 6 minutes long. That’s plenty of time for massive cray cray. You it isn’t that easy to assemble a team of grade A kick ass superheroes. I mean, sometimes they have other commitments and can’t help you out. So what can you do? In reality you would have to recruit some B-list heroes to round out your team. That’s what is happening in this Funny Or Die Justice League parody. Batman recruits Barb Wire, Shaq’s Steel, Blankman, and Howard the Duck. When you’re that desperate, you get who you can.
Check out this cool and retro Justice League VHS Trailer. This one looks like it could genuinely exist on a VHS tape. They got all of the grainy details just right. The music, the narration and the editing are all pitch perfect. It really delivers the nostalgia while making you want to see the new Justice League movie.
