Well, it’s about time. Warner Bros. has released the first official photo from Shazam! and it features Zachary Levi in costume. I have to say, the costume looks great. There were some fears that they would totally botch the costume, but it looks appropriate. The kid standing next to him is Billy’s best friend in the film, Freddy Freeman. I love that they kept that golden age vibe.

Principle shooting has started on Wonder Woman 1984, so more info is coming out. Like this awesome image of Diana in her full 1980s costume. It’s not much different from her WWI era costume, but it is shinier. Thankfully she doesn’t have 80s style big hair.
I’m not sure that this movie will match the original two Predator movies, but it looks like Shane Black has done a great job. This second trailer for The Predator gets me excited for the movie. There’s one and only one super cool thing that you need to know about what happens in this trailer: While “The Predator” is getting busy killing on humans, ANOTHER one shows up and picks a fight with the first one. Now I need to know what happens.

The Millennium Falcon’s design is so iconic, it’s probably not a great idea to mess with it. Otherwise, you get what we are calling the Millennial Falcon, the design they actually used in the Solo movie. Here are 30 other designs that James Clyne, the design supervisor for Solo: A Star Wars Story, and his team came up with. They’re not much better than the movie version. Basically, all they did was combine the Falcon with parts from other Star Wars ships. Like adding some Y-wing parts, making one look like a Star Destroyer, adding TIE Fighter wings and other nonsense. These are every bit as bad as what we got in the movie.
The moral of the story? Don’t mess with a classic.

The star of 2001: A Space Odessey is clearly the Star Child. Believe it or not, the original prop is still out there and it looks pretty good after all of these years. These days it is part of a traveling Stanley Kubrick Exhibition. Check out Atlas Obscura for all kinds of fun facts about the Star Child. It is well worth your time.
Marketing for the Deadpool movies often takes some silly approaches and we love that. This IMAX poster for the movie is the best yet. Also the most ridiculous. It features Deadpool, Domino, Cable, Colossus, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead along with a magical unicorn and rainbows. You have to love the fact that they just have fun with marketing and don’t act all stuffy about it.
Deadpool 2 hits theaters on may 18th!
Check out this new and short Deadpool 2 trailer that features some fun new footage from the film as Deadpool builds his own superhero team known as X-Force. Isn’t that a bit derivitive? Yes it is. There’s even a scene where Deadpool is holding auditions. Short as it is, this trailer just gets me even more excited for the movie. Everything about it just looks amazing.

The Solo: A Star Wars Story Official Trailer is finally here. It’s got space cars, beautiful women, Lando, a train heist and everything else that you could want from a Star Wars movie. I’m a little concerned that Aiden Ehrenreich’s performance is very flat in this trailer, but the movie looks great visually, so I’m hoping it’s a good movie.
Denny’s is teaming up with Lucasfilm for a Solo: A Star Wars Story cross-promotion campaign. This is a cool promo spot that features kid versions of Han Solo and Lando Calrissian playing a game of sabacc in some seedy cantina in the Star Wars universe. Chewbacca is here too, along with a lot of neat aliens. This is to promote the fact that Denny’s has a movie-inspired menu and trading card packs that can be purchased. Proceeds from the trading card packs will benefit the charity, No Kid Hungry. Some of the cards reveal some new characters. One with the ridiculous name of Therm Scissorpunch.
