When you look at this concept art from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, one thing becomes clear: This could have been a much darker movie. That probably would have been a good thing. Too bad Disney always likes to play it safe. To me Rey and Finn look much more a part of the Star Wars universe in their outfits here. BB-8 also went through several changes. I kind of like that bulky look. It’s less cutesy and more utilitarian. Kylo Ren? He could have looked far more menacing. There are so many interesting things to see here and you know what that means. I have to get this book and drool over these images.
