Space-slug gangster, Jabba the Hutt, is a disgusting and slimy villain, but we love him. Robert Lundmark has captured Jabba perfectly in LEGO form. The detail on this LEGO Jabba The Hutt is nothing short of amazing. We’ve seen Star Wars LEGO creations before, but the way Robert uses LEGO pieces here is just great. The contouring and coloring are so sleek. Very nice attention to detail.

Prepare for some super cool graffiti art. EW released a bunch of new graffiti inspired posters for The LEGO Batman Movie the other day. This should get you in the mood for the movie. LEGO Batman has a February 10, 2017 release.
I have always had a thing for the Klingon Bird of Prey. It is just such a beautifully designed ship from a time before the folks at Star Trek kind of gave up on good ship design. So I had to share this amazing LEGO creation from Kevin J. Walter. It took 25,000 LEGO pieces to create. The amount of detail that he created here is insane. I love these builds, but they also make me a bit sad, because LEGO should be offering sets like this so nerds like me can build them. On the other hand, it would probably cost a fortune so maybe it is for the best. Kevin had to create his version from a blueprint that he made himself.

The season finale of Westworld just aired and many of us were stunned by what we saw. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet, but I do know that I love this LEGO recreation of Ford’s office. It comes from Jay’s Brick Blog. It looks like they captured all of the details. Robot heads on the wall? Check. The golden thing under the dome? Check. (What the hell is that thing anyway?) The outfit even looks like Ford’s. Awesome job Jay. Ford would be proud.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2 is coming. It is just a matter of time. The hardest part is the waiting. Waiting for more teasers, trailers, toys, anything! So here is a little something to keep you busy for a few minutes at least. This is an amazing recreation of the Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 trailer using LEGO! Huxley Berg Studios did an amazing job. They are obviously big fans, just like the rest of us. This makes me want to play with some GOTG LEGO sets.
We are in awe of this cool LEGO ED-209 built by LEGO fan chumuhou. This is a very neat replica of ED-209 from Robocop. It is damn near perfect. I really wish that LEGO would release some sets like this. It is so unfair that we can’t buy one.

This is a special treat for Babylon 5 fans. Ryan Olsen’s latest build is none other than the EAS Agamemnon. She was one of the first Omega class starships to be built by Earthforce following the Earth-Minbari War and she is a real beauty of a ship. She’s pretty spectacular in LEGO form as well. Star Wars Rogue One will be hitting theaters in a few months, so naturally some LEGO sets are already beginning to surface. This recreation of a scene from the trailer is from markus19840420. It is a faithful recreation of the mysterious hooded figure kneeling before what appears to be a bacta tank as Imperial Guards look on. I wonder who that could be? He did a nice job on this piece, even managing to add a cool steam effect. Very cool. Nailed it! Really looking forward to seeing this movie.

Most of us enjoy the classic Scifi movie Silent Running. If you don’t, what’s wrong with you? It’s a great film. It had some cool visual effects for the time too. And now here is the film’s Valley Forge spaceship recreated in LEGO by artist Louie Tommo. He also created LEGO versions of astronaut Freeman Lowell and his robots Huey, Louie and Dewey. Man, I really wish this was an official set, but I’m just glad that it exists so I can stare at it and drool.
