LEGO has announced their largest set ever. A Lego model of the Millennium Falcon that costs $800 and has 7,541 Pieces. It is very nicely detailed and oh so beautiful. The set (Ultimate Collector Series #75192) will be available for purchase on 10/1/17 and will probably sell out quickly. Man, this set looks like it is worth every penny.
Artist Blair Archer created this amazing and super detailed Alien Xenomorph bust. It will give you nightmares. At Bricks Cascade 2017, Joshua Hanlon talked to Blair to find out how made this beautiful beast. This build is so detailed it is crazy. This has to be the most beautiful LEGO Xenomorph in existence.

This is an interesting LEGO TARDIS interior by AdNorrel, who was inspired after watching the episode Journey to the Center of the TARDIS. And while this build isn’t based on any specific room inside the TARDIS, it captures the general look quite nicely. I can easily see this as a very important room deep within the TARDIS. Iain Heath makes some unusual LEGO pop culture characters. They aren’t highly detailed things of beauty, but rather deformed and ugly representations of Geek characters that we all know. I had no idea that everything could be BB-8-ified. Check this out. BB-8 masquerades as other Star Wars characters, and even DC and Marvel superheroes. Is there anything or anyone that LEGO BB-8 can not mimic? Handoko Setyawan has taken the droid’s simple shape, and by playing with colors, transforms it into a bunch of familiar characters. This is so cool. I love R2-D2, but I never saw him do this.

LEGO Brickheadz are awesome. They are a new style of LEGO figure that really look great on your desk or wherever. They have a nice selection of DC Comics and Marvel LEGO Brickheadz, with more on the way. It is a whole new way to enjoy your favorite characters in LEGO form.
One of the greatest scenes in sci-fi history has been captured perfectly in LEGO. That is the moment in Return of the Jedi when Princess Leia chokes Jabba the Hutt and kills him dead. It is Leia vs Jabba. This cool creation is the work of artist Iain “Ochre Jelly” Heath and it is stunning. It really captures the moment perfectly, with Leia pulling the chains and Jabba’s tongue coming out of his nasty slimy mouth. The quality here is good enough for an official LEGO kit. If only we could buy it.

Check out this custom LEGO Batman jacket with Batman, The Joker, and the Batsignal on it. It was made by LEGO artist Nathan Sawaya for DC Entertainment President Diane Nelson to wear to the premiere of The LEGO Batman Movie. It must have been pretty heavy. And not very comfortable. It is however, a very cool piece of LEGO art. This jacket took the artist 100 hours to create and has more than 10,000 bricks on it. It is basically geeky LEGO armor.

Chevy has been having a lot of fun with the new LEGO Batman movie. Chevy and LEGO has built a life sized LEGO Batman Batmobile. It contains more than 340,000 LEGO pieces, and is 17 feet in length. The total weight is 1,695.5 pounds. Each tire alone is just over 100 pounds. It took 222 hours to design and 1,833 hours to build. And I want one.
