StephLewArt calls this series “cuties” for obvious reasons. They are pint sized prints that are triple A: Adorable, amazing, affordable. Also very collectible, because you will want many to hang in your home or office. These prints cover everything from Batman, to Game of Thrones and everything in between. If you’ve ever wondered what the Suicide Squad would look like as cartoon characters, artist Brandon Pike has the answer. He created a cool series of art that shows a few of the Suicide Squad members in cartoon style. Included are The Joker, Harley Quinn, Enchantress, Killer Croc, and Batman. Hopefully he adds more. I’m totally up for a Suicide Squad animated series. Not sure that would ever happen though.
If the Doctor had a coat of arms, it would look like this one. This cool Doctor Who Coat of Arms art is the work of Daniel Clark. I can see this displayed somewhere in the TARDIS for sure. It features the 10th and 11th Doctor’s Sonic Screwdrivers over a shield with the TARDIS inside. Above it reads The Oncoming Storm. I would totally wear this as a T-shirt or hang it up in my room. While we all wait for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 to arrive, check out this Adventure Time and Guardians of the Galaxy Mash-Up art in the meantime. It was created by Patrick Burke, who is a 3D Artist at Blizzard Entertainment. He did this piece for an art show, where the theme was combining Adventure Time and a favorite sci-fi film. I wouldn’t mind seeing this as a cartoon. The land of Ooo would never be the same.
I just spent way too much time scrolling through everything that JeremyEnnisStudio has in his etsy store and wow, this guy is super talented. A few of the cool pieces of art that caught my eye were these Snow White and Sleeping Beauty Vs Facehuggers pieces. They are only 4×5 inches, but they are fun Disney/Alien mashups. They come mounted and wrapped and would be really cool displayed somewhere in the home.
This is Paul Ainsworth’s Napoleon Complex series which features tiny and cranky versions of pop culture characters. It is a fun and cute series and he says that more are on the way. You have never seen these characters so tiny and grumpy. Even the good guys are full of attitude and totally ticked off. I can’t wait to see what other people he adds.
Ecto 1 in all it’s glory. Hovering as it rides into the future. At least, that’s what I think of when I see this amazing image from Dmitry Novitskiy. Back to the Future meets Ghostbusters. This is one of the best movie cars of all time.
I saw these cool minimalist superhero prints and posters and had to share them with you guys. Etsy seller charmming makes these and they are so gorgeous. They each really capture the essence of the character through brilliant use of colors and logos, in a very dynamic way. They pull no punches with their in your face style. They are all very reasonably priced too. These are great Christmas gifts, but you’ll want to get yourself a few as well.
Artist Edgy Ziane dreams of making his own Batman movies. Hey, me too. And even though he can’t make a billion dollar movie, he has made one from his art. He sees a Batman that is darker, psychological, like nothing we’ve seen to date. The story unfolds in the images here. This is “City of the Damned”. In this version of Batman, Bruce Wayne is a rich psychopath who creates monsters to justify his role as guardian of the city. He deliberately destroys the Arkham prison so that he can let the maniacs run free and hunt them down in his own personal and twisted game.
I have to say, I like the idea and I love the art. It is a great premise for a Dark Knight tale.

The sci-fi film Arrival was a pleasant surprise, full of unexpected twists and turns. If you haven’t seen it, make sure you check it out, it will be well worth your time. There are some aliens in the film that had some very interesting designs, but they could have looked a lot different.
