Imagine Iron Man if he were in the world of TRON. Well, the folks at Samkwok Workshop have created this amazing custom action figure that shows us what it would look like. They used an Iron Man Mark 9 Hot Toys 1/6th-scale action figure and added some incredible Tron-inspired designs to the armor. That is one lovely suit of armor.
French artist and motion designer Patrick Grandi created this cool video showcasing a pair of His and Hers lightsaber designs. These designs are pretty awesome. As much as I love Star Wars lightsabers, my only gripe would be how little the hilts deviate from the original designs. I think we can do better and this concept proves it.
They should look like the elegant weapons that they are from a more civilized age. Look at all of the amazing detail in these weapons. They are downright sexy as hell, with so many curves and grooves.I just love all of the detail here. Just beautiful.
Check out this unbelievable custom Death Star toy. It was made by Jack Stuk and Star Wars toy manufacturers need to be taking note. He used the Gi Joe Cobra Terror Drome toy. Every time he saw that old toy he thought it would make a great Death Star, so he finally made it happen. This Death Star has it all. The bridge where Luke and Leia swung across, a control room, a trash compactor and more. As the images show, it works well as a Force Awakens playset as well.
I want to have this soooo bad. That is some amazing custom work.
This custom Flash ring is super nice. The gold Flash design opens up to reveal the colorful Flash symbol inside. Part of the reson it looks so beautiful is because it has a real piece of fabric in the compartment. The seller made this ring thinking that if The Flash wore one on the CW show, it would look something like this. It is pretty stunning. Click through to check out all of the pics.
Remember that scene in spaceballs where Dark Helmet was playing with action figures? Well, someone went ahead and made these figures for real and they are pretty awesome. I just wish I could buy these. This amazing set was made by Blayne Scott for a friend. I know. I wish I had a friend like Blayne too. They were sculpted over the course of 6 months using pieces of Star Wars figures and of course lots of sculpting techniques.

In space no one can hear your thrusters scream. This amazing custom-made Iron Man and Alien Xenomorph mashup was created by the Samkwok workshop. They used Hot Toys’ 1/4 Iron Man Mark 43 figure and added all of the awesome xenomorph details. This figure is just a stunning creation. If I were Hot Toys, I would hire this guy and have him make a prototype so we can all own one. That paint job is masterful.
Check out this “Lord Vader Kabuto” by El Hooligan. It was custom made over a 1/5 scale Darth Vader helmet and now it looks much better as the head of a Samurai Sith lord!
Sadly we can’t buy it since it has found a home already. If you ask the artist nicely, maybe he will make one for you. This head would be an amazing display piece that’s for sure. He has somehow managed to make Darth Vader look even more sinister. I love all of the fine details. Awesome work.

Artist and designer James Freckingham of Robotic Industries has taken Finn and Jake to a whole new level by combining them with He-Man and Battle Cat. This is probably how Finn and Jake see themselves in battle anyway, so it totally works. He-Finn’s head is actually a re-sculpt of the one on the original He-Man action figures and he’s wearing Finn’s white bear hat, blue t-shirt, and a denim loincloth. This action figure can compete with Susan Strong as far as muscular size.
You can own one. There will be a very limited run of only 15 “He-Finn The Human” action figures released on Fugi.me on Friday March 11th at 10AM PST. As for Battle Jake, hopefully he is arriving soon after.

The figure is adorable and I love the carding. The first batch is 10 pieces and 2 of them have already been spoken for. I hope he does more figures in this style. This guy is super cute. Which means it will be oh so adorable when he goes all emo and starts destroying stuff.

As geeks we love a good mashup and this is a good one. Star Wars Stormtroopers and Darth Vader mashed up with Mobile Suit Gundam? Of course the results are going to be amazing. These custom-made Star Wars Gundam figures were created by Korean Gundam fan Kunho Noh. He basically took Stormtrooper models and modified them with Gundam armor. These are some hardcore Imperial lackeys. You can see some of his work below along with some video. These Stormtroopers look a lot more militaristic that’s for sure. I love all of the little weathering details on the armor.
