Never-Before-Seen Back to the Future Poster
We all know the iconic poster for Back To The Future that shows Marty and Doc with the Delorean, but there was another poster that you may not know about that was almost used instead. This unused poster concept recently came to light after a former employee at Lonsdale Advertising in England found it in their collection.

Now it is headed to auction. This is an awesome poster, but I’m glad they went with the other one. The retro 50s element of the first movie would have been the focus here. It works, but it is not nearly as dramatic.

Back To The Future 1 and 2 are represented here, Aliens, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and more. I love these images. So classic. Each have phrases from the scene underneath too. Great work Gustavo. You really captured these moments perfectly. They all have this great atmosphere.

Deadpool and Cable Go Back To The Future

Last week was Back To The Future overkill as we all celebrated the arrival of Doc Brown and Marty McFly in our time, their future. Marvel Comics got in on the fun too and released the cover art for Deadpool and Cable: Split Second #2. It was created by artist Reilly Brown who may be the son of Doc Brown for all we know. Obviously this cover pays homage to the poster for the classic time-traveling adventure film. That taxi is no Delorean however.

Deadpool and Cable: Split Second #1 is out right now. The second issue doesn’t come out until January. I love this tribute to one of my favorite movie franchises.

They are also custom trimmed with a 1″ border for framing. These prints are pretty impressive, that’s for sure. It’s hard to pick a favorite.

88 Miles Per Hour

The latest project by illustrator Scott Park is called “88 Miles Per Hour,” and he is taking us Back to the Future to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the movies. This poster is a colorful look at the various modes of transport in the trilogy. Yes, there were that many vehicles in the movies. Now they are all in one handy place.

They are arranged by the order in which they appeared onscreen. How many do you remember from the films? If you want to purchase the print you can find it at his Society6 store.

Back To The Future Aging Vs Reality

If you ever found yourself curious about comparing the makeup done to age the actors in Back To The Future than this Back to the Future vs. Reality comparison should be right up your alley. It looks like they did a pretty good job. Biff especially.

I’m glad to see that this trilogy is getting some extra attention these days.
