Cris Alex is pretty talented at body painting. Here he paints himself to look just like a T-800 from The Terminator! He does an amazing job and the end result reminds me of how the T-800 looks in comic books. You can watch the entire transformation in the video below. It’sjust stunning how talented some people are at painting. And painting yourself is even harder than painting on canvas.

Fritz Lang’s Metropolis endures to this day. I’m kind of surprised that they haven’t remade it recently since they remake everything else. I thought you guys would appreciate this fan-made poster from Dan Schlitzkus. The art deco design looks great in those bright pop colors.
Artist Ron Cummings created these fun designs for the 2016 election. These are a much better choice than the two politicians vying to be President in the real world. If you vote Ackbar, you can be sure that he’ll tell you about any traps, however, we’ve always been told to let the Wookie win. So this is a hard call.
Frank Howarth made this gorgeous Death Star out of bamboo. This space station/super weapon looks surprisingly good in wood. Frank also shared some behind-the-scenes footage showing the build. Is this not the most beautiful thing that is not a moon that you have ever seen?
In a zombie outbreak, when Batman becomes a zombie, we are all dead.Or is that undead? This is the work of Ali Jalali, a CG sculpture and character artist. It shows the Dark Knight as a zombie in gory detail. He calls the piece The Undead Rises.It was created for a Comic-Con 2016 challenge where artists were asked to turn superheroes into zombies. Batman looks absolutely terrifying here. I would hate to run into him.
This fan made diorama of Jabba’s throne room is perfect. It has all of those little details that you want in a playset. I guess Giorgio Gregori made this because it’s about a hundred times better than any playset you can buy. I love all of the background characters he added and the palace itself just looks awesome. They really should hire Giorgio to help make Star wars toys.

This adorable art comes from Ukraine based artist Tasha Mille. They are children’s style Chibi versions of Star Wars characters. I like how she paired up a small character with a big one. These would make great posters or even greetings cards. They are just so cute. She says that there will only be three, but I hope she makes many more.
C-3PO may not be as sexy as Maria, but he totally works in this parody art based on Fritz Lang’s Metropolis poster. Maybe this was a George “Fritz” Lucas production. It is fittingly called Droidopolis.
