This Alien display is hand sculpted, molded and cast in plastic. Then mounted on a wooden plaque, ready to hang on your wall.
It measures 7″ tall with the oval plaque. The Alien is 4″ tall. More than large enough to cause some trouble if it were alive. Tell your friends you bagged it yourself!
I make no secret of the fact that these Star Trek reboot films are pretty sucky IMO. Having said that, the latest video for the Omaze charity contest gives us a first glimpse at a new alien from the film and I have to admit it looks pretty cool.
Most Star Trek aliens are fairly uninspired humanoids so I was happy to see this unique alien show up. Maybe there is hope that this next movie will be something special? Check out the video below.
This E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial plush wants to phone home. To your home. I’ve seen a lot of crappy E.T. toys over the years, but this plush actually looks pretty awesome. I mean, if you open yourself up to him and turn on your heartlight.
He measures 27″ tall and would make a great gift for any E.T. fan.
Ack! Ack! The Martians are invading. Can you believe it has been over 50 years since the Topps Mars Attacks! Trading Cards came on the scene? You can celebrate the phenomenon with this Mars Attacks! Martian Figure Model Kit.
This cool model has an attacking Martian with a street-scene base and a melted victim.
You’ll need your own paint and glue. When you are finished, it will display nicely in your collection. This model is about 1:8 scale and nicely detailed.
The Martians are really invading people! We have proof. Sort of. This face is actually the work of makeup artist Maria Malone. It is a terrifyingly real Mars Attacks Martian brought to life. You can see it in action in the video below.
Just a warning though. Prepare to be terrified. At least it doesn’t carry around a ray gun and say ak ak ak!

I know that a lot of people think that Prometheus was a sub-par movie, whether it is a prequel to Alien or not. I found it to be a worthy prequel to the classic, but different strokes and all that. For those of you who didn’t like the movie, maybe you’ll like it better with both movies edited together.
Editor Job Willins edited both movies together to highlight the good things in Prometheus and give it some closer ties to Alien. The film uses a parallel narrative, set 30 years apart and is titled Derelict. It really does a great job of setting an even scarier atmosphere in black and white. I’m not sure how I feel about it, but it’s a brilliant idea and very creepy.

Now this is great packaging. And marketing. Apparently, this set of six Alien toy eggs comes in it’s own protective egg carton, just like the Grade A chicken variety you get from the grocery store. The set comes with three unhatched eggs and three with face huggers crawling around. Word is that they will be available this year. This is a must buy. No word on a price yet.

Here is something you don’t see everyday. This is Pedro T. Predator and his friend Abi (deviantARTist Rex-equinox) cosplaying in Predator and Xenomorph costumes. In their world these aliens are not natural born enemies, but best buds who do everything together.
Like playing at the local playground together, getting on stage and rocking out, playing video games and scrabble together and much more. It’s nice to see these species getting along so well. They make the universe a nicer place.
Here’s some cosplay you don’t see nearly often enough. A Silurian Warrior from Doctor Who. The question is this. Is she a friend or a foe of the Doctor’s? Maybe she is getting ready to battle some Sea Devils.
