Alien Facehugger Hairclip

Alien Facehugger Hairclip
In space no one can hear you scream… Or in this case squee because you are so excited to have a facehugger in your hair. This little Alien Facehugger Hairclip is pretty cute. It is the perfect accessory for fangirls who love the Alien movies. It measures just over 4″ long and promises not to attack you.

You guys can wear it too because the seller can make these into buttonholes as well. Nothing compliments a suit or Tux quite like a facehugger crawling up your breast. You will be the talk of the event.

H.R. Giger’s Japanese Ads For Pioneer

H.R. Giger's Japanese Ads For Pioneer
Some of you might remember this advertising campaign from 1985 when Japanese electronics company Pioneer hired H.R. Giger for an advertising campaign to promote the company’s new Zone system. They even made a television commercial that features one of Giger’s creatures. There were also two print advertisements.

I don’t know about you, but advertisements that feature Giger’s work certainly get my attention. This will either make you buy a Pioneer product or make you feel terrified. Maybe both.

Alien Xenomorph Easter Bunny

Alien Xenomorph Easter Bunny
Scary as it looks, this Alien Xenomorph Easter Bunny also looks delicious. Imagine having this on display during Easter. This yummy yet terrifying treat is the latest piece of edible art created by artist and baker Christine McConnell. The woman is a master food crafter. How does she do it? I have no idea, but I can tell you that the Xenomorh’s head is a Twinkie!

Christine makes all kinds of awesome geeky treats and you can check them all out in her new book titled Deceptive Desserts: A Lady’s Guide to Baking Bad! I just want to eat this so bad!

LEGO Xenomorph Is A Highly Detailed Nightmare

LEGO Xenomorph Is A Highly Detailed Nightmare
This LEGO Xenomorph is the stuff of LEGO nightmares. Look at all of that stunning detail. It even has acid drool on the chin. It is from Spanish LEGO builders the Arvo Brothers. They really are a dynamic duo. It’s hard to imagine how anyone could top this version using just LEGO pieces.

If you want to make one yourself, they have a book detailing the process here. It always amazes me that people can creat such amazing sculptures out of LEGO.

Alien Xenomorph Statue by Sideshow Collectibles

Alien Xenomorph Statue by Sideshow Collectibles
Sideshow Collectibles does it again with this awesome Alien Xenomorph Statue. It is the Alien Internecivus raptus Statue. That means ‘murderous thief,’ and it is one of the few official names recorded for the xenomorph species. This Xenomorph has an elegant pose as it is ascending from a surreal monochromatic chamber, with its limbs crossed and its barbed tail coiled. It is so detailed that it is horrifying.

It stands 22″ tall x 8.5″ wide x 8″ long. It will be large and in charge in your collection.

Alien And Predator LEGO Portraits

Alien And Predator LEGO Portraits
These LEGO portraits of Xenomorphs and Predators are fun yet terrifying. Also awesome. They capture each creature perfectly using only LEGO bricks. These 3D portraits were created by New Zealand-based LEGO enthusiast Grantmasters. Some of you may recognize the Alien portrait, which was inspired by the original cover for the Alien: Weyland-Yutani Report Collectors’ Edition book.

I would hang these on my wall, but I’m not sure they would stay. They are just too scary despite being made of LEGO.

This Alien Queen Cosplay Is Terrifying

This is the most terrifying cosplay that I have seen all day. Yet beautiful at the same time. This cosplay by Giulietta Zawadzki really captures the terror that the Alien Queen instills in humans. I can appreciate the beauty and the amazing detail in that costume, but I would never ever want to encounter her in real life. That costume just blows my mind.

Alien Queen Cosplay

Alien Queen Cosplay
This Alien Queen Cosplay based on the alien queen from Aliens 2 is more beautiful than terrifying. It was created by animation director Ashley J. Long. That headpiece is made from 50 to 60 pieces of cardstock that were hand arranged and glued together over two months. Now that is dedication to your craft. No wonder it looks so perfect. The jewels are a nice creepy touch. The headpiece sits on a bike helmet, which is the key to making it wearable and keeping it in place. It’s a great design.

The egg is paper mache and the spine is aluminum. I’ve never seen a more stylish and elegant alien queen. Still deadly, but quite lovely. You can make one yourself. For more info check it out on Instructables.
