First Mega Bloks Star Trek Construction Sets
We had news earlier this year that Mega Bloks had secured the license to produce Star Trek construction toys. They aren’t LEGO, but hey, all of the images you see here are awesome, so how can you complain? At NYCC they are showing off the Enterprise and two other sets that will be released in the fall of 2016.

The biggest set is the USS Enterprise, which will apparently be over three thousand pieces and have light up nacelles to boot! It comes with two figurines: Kirk and Spock in dress uniforms. This ship is a 1/350 scale set that will cost $250. If you want something more affordable but no less cool, the Klingon D7 class will be $30. This one also comes with a figure, a Klingon obviously with a banner of the Empire on a display base.

The coolest one as far as I’m concerned is the transporter room from the mirror universe, featuring mirror Kirk and Spock, and a mid-transport Scotty. This set lights up with glow-in-the-dark elements. Also the mirror universe designs can be flipped around to make it look like the prime universe transporter room.

These are some awesome sets, that’s for sure. The bottom image is a Command chair made using Mega Blocks that is on display at NYCC.

These highly-accurate collectible figures by Hot Toys are specially crafted based on the First Order Snowtroopers in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Each Snowtrooper has newly designed Snowtrooper armor, helmet, and backpack. The standard First Order Snowtrooper has a blaster rifle with extended stock, while the First Order Snowtrooper Officer has a blaster rifle with extended stock, a pair of articulated binoculars, and a red colored pauldron that indicates the rank of officer. Two additional blaster rifles are also included exclusively in this set! Now is the time to build your army! They really look incredible.

This Transformers Optimus Prime (Starscream Version) Transformers Collectible Figure is insane. Transformers Generation 1 all the way. Optimus stands about 12″ tall and it’s no joke when it comes to the detail on this thing. It has nice distressed effects, a pair of Starscream’s wings, weapons, and a rocky ground diorama base with the Autobots logo. I know I’m a nerd, but I think I’m in love.

The colors! The textures! It’s a must have for Transformers fans. God, this thing looks good.

Love it or hate it, Terminator Genisys brought Arnold back into the role that he is known for and now his latest incarnation is celebrated in this statue. This battle-damaged 1:4 scale Terminator Genisys Guardian statue shows Sarah Connor’s Guardian from the latest Terminator movie.

He comes with two interchangeable hands and even has a cloth jacket. He is nicely detailed and damaged just like in the film. One hand is equipped with a rifle, the other has the magnetic rings he uses to fight the T-3000 at the end of the film. He stands 22-inches tall including the base. Chronic Collectibles really knocked this one out of the park.
