Star Trek LEGO Figures

Etsy seller Bricknut has some fun and cool LEGO Star Trek figures, just in case you have a LEGO Enterprise bridge that needs to be manned. You can get Riker,Worf, Geordi LaForge and Captain Picard. They are pretty unique and would look great on any geek shelf.

Do yourself a favor and check out his other LEGO figures while you are there. The seller also has several Marvel and DC characters. Hopefully they will add more, because I would love to see what he can do with Doctor Who characters.

Aliens Power Loader 33-Inch Statue

The latest toy to take our money is this awesome Aliens Power Loader 33-Inch Statue. Not that we are complaining. Hollywood Collectibles has gone all out on this thing. The Caterpillar P-5000 Powered Work Loader was used by Ripley to defeat the Alien Queen! This statue was recreated from the original blueprints and you can see for yourself that no detail was spared.

It’s exactly the same size as the model used for filming the movie. That would be an impressive 33-inches tall x 25-inches wide. It has a webbing operator harness made of real material, a working light-up hazard light on top, and an accurate weathered finish. The detail is pretty stunning. This is a must for fans of the Alien franchise. A quality statue like this doesn’t come cheap. It is priced at $1,199.99.

Star Trek Into Darkness Starfleet Academy Class Ring Prop Replica

Not just anyone can wear this ring. This is what the best and brightest strive for. The Starfleet Academy Class Ring! If you have what it takes, you can wear one. Maybe even Captain a starship one day. This is a 1:1 scale prop replica of the rings worn in the 2013 Star Trek Into Darkness film.

It was crafted from the actual screen-used ring and even comes in a custom lighted metal case with a clear topside window. Quantum Mechanix designed and produced the actual ring worn in the film. Now they are offering this one made using the same mold. No collection is complete without it.

Etsy seller TheRetroInc wants you to decorate your home with images from a galaxy far, far away. These cool pillowcases come with just about any Star Wars character you could want on them, created with polygon art.

They will cost you about $34., but they look so cool that they are totally worth it. It’s a good way to geek up your home and add some Star Wars style. They would look great anywhere. On the bed, on your sofa or wherever you want. I would love to collect them all.

LEGO Babylon 5 Omega Class Destroyer

It’s amazing what talented folks can do with LEGO. Imgur user SlimPickings450 created this sweet LEGO Babylon 5 Omega Class Destroyer exclusively from his AT-ST 10174 LEGO set. The Babylon 5 ships are among my favorite ever. It’s nice to see this one created in LEGO. It just needs a few Starfurys to go with it.

Using the parts for a Star Wars AT-ST and making this ship out of them is pretty amazing. Great work.

Star Trek III Movie Phaser Light-Up Prop Replica with Sound

The famous phaser first seen in the third Star Trek movie, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock can now be yours. It features a removable Type 1 “cricket” phaser and a Type 2 pistol grip. This replica features realistic lights and sound effects straight from the film.

It measures 9 7/10-inches tall x 9 1/2-inches long x 3 1/10-inches wide. This replica is as accurate a Star Trek III phaser as you are likely to find. This is one of the stand out phaser designs from the original films. It is only $34.99 from Entertainment Earth.

Even superheroes need to kick back and relax sometimes. LEGO superheroes prefer to rest on LEGO couches of course. And here is a whole set of both.

These clever and imaginative LEGO figures by Angus MacLane give us a look at what superheroes and other pop culture figures do when they have some down time. Turns out they are just like us. Well, I don’t know about that guy who was stabbed in the chest though.

This ongoing LEGO chibi micro contest is fun. Not to mention all kinds of cute and creative. Below are just some of the neat Sci-Fi vehicles that LEGO fanatics have created in chibi style. These are all done in micro scale. Some of the entries get really creative.

I’m always impressed at what people can make with LEGO. You’ll see several famous vehicles that you recognize from TV and movies, just much much smaller and much much cuter. I especially like that Landspeeder.

Watch as Adam Savage builds the sexy and curvy space rifle from the 1960s Sci-Fi cult film Barbarella. He makes it by hand with only one image for reference. If you are in doubt that Adam is a true master in his field, just watch him work.

The end result is a sexy and sultry weapon that Jane Fonda would be proud to take into battle. It’s a long video obviously, but it is well worth watching.
