Doctor Who TARDIS Console Room Mega Building Set

Toys like this Doctor Who TARDIS Console Room Mega Building Set make me feel like a kid again. Except we didn’t have any Doctor Who playsets in my day. This console room is highly customizable and comes with 4 Doctor Who micro-figures!

It features the TARDIS interior console room and an exterior with an alien-world landscape. You get the Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond, Rory Williams, and River Song! There are 665 pieces in all. Your kids will love it, but let’s face it, buying this set for your kid is just an excuse for you to play with it when no one is looking.

DIY Cardboard Millennium Falcon

This cardboard Millennium Falcon is a pretty impressive creation. If you have a few hundred cardboard boxes laying around, you might want to build one of your own. Although I doubt it will be as amazingly detailed as Imgur user Thomas Richner‘s creation.

It is a 5ft. long scale model made almost entirely of cardboard, except for a bit of balsa wood along the hull. If that isn’t enough, it even has retractable landing gear and a detachable radar dish. It took Thomas 140 hours of work and as far as I’m concerned it was totally worth it. This thing is amazing. He even took a few shots against a green screen and it actually looks like it belongs in the movies.

Star Trek All Good Things U.S.S. Enterprise-D Ship

All good things must come to an end and that includes Star Trek: The Next Generation. One of the coolest things about that farewell to the crew was the new Enterprise D with the third nacelle. Now you can own this Diamond Select exclusive, which features lights, sounds, and a removable saucer section. This is a superbly detailed replica toy of the ship.

This vessel features a unique third-nacelle design that gives it more firepower than the previous Enterprise. It has sound effects and phrases unique to the “All Good Things” episode. The Star Trek Enterprise-D Ship measures over 17-inches long and is the most detailed Enterprise toy yet!

Collect all of the Firefly 6″ Legacy Collection Action Figures. These guys look pretty exceptional, with some great sculpts and some really nice detail. It’s exciting to see Captain Mal and the crew of the Serenity as highly articulated 6” scale action figures.

Engraved Glass Millennium Falcon And Death Star

These aren’t new, but they are so shiny and lovely that I had to share. Apparently only 40 of these engraved Millennium Falcon and Death Stars were produced to celebrate Disney taking over Lucasfilm. They were gifts for people who helped make the deal happen.

Each Millennium Falcon took six to seven hours to complete. The level of detail is pretty stunning. This is one of those “Holy grail” collectibles that most of us will never have a chance at owning.

Adorable Clay Doctor Who Figures

These clay Doctor Who figures from Etsy seller eattoast are fairly adorable and they offer all of your favorite characters, mostly villains, from the classic series straight up through new Who. The little boy in the gas mask is even here. “Are you my mummy?”

They stand about 4″ tall and I can only imagine how awesome they would look in a group on your desk or shelf. They are about $20-30 and well worth it for such unique little figures. We picked some of our favorites below.

Doctor Who Interactive Smartphone Controlled K-9

There have always been remote controlled K-9 toys showing up every few years, but this latest version uses a smartphone app to give you the ultimate K-9. Good dog K-9! Good dog!

This 1/4-scale K-9 uses a dedicated smartphone app, from which you can can control him. He can go into “attack mode”, extending the laser gun in his nose and making sounds, say phrases from the show and his eyes even light up and his ears move.

If you are a K-9 fan, this really seems like the ultimate version. It will be avilable in the UK soon and hopefully it will show up in the US soon after.

Star Trek ReAction Figures Wave 2

Remember those awesome Star Trek ReAction figures we told you about last month? Wave 2 has now been released. The second set of four will be available in July. This set includes Captain Kirk and Scotty of the Enterprise, Vina the Orion slave girl and the Gorn.

Hopefully Funko will follow this up with a wave 3 that has the rest of the bridge crew. I’d love to see some others like Trelane and Harry Mudd.
