Batman v Superman Wonder Woman Cosplay

Batman v Superman Wonder Woman Cosplay
Remember Izabel Cortez and her stunning Suicide Squad Harley Quinn cosplay? Well, Izabel is back and this time she has set her sights on Wonder Woman from the Batman v Superman movie. Just like with Harley, she totally nails it. That is one badass costume that she created and she makes an amazing Wonder Woman.

She is ready for anything and looking fierce. It’s hard to imagine that she would take a backseat to Superman or Batman. I think they better follow her lead. Check out some work in progress images below as well as the finished costume, then check out her Facebook page for more. Izabel is part artist and part chameleon. I can’t believe how she always transforms herself.

The Muppets As Justice League Characters

The Muppets As Justice League Characters
Now that we’ve seen Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we are looking forward to the solo Wonder Woman movie and then The Justice League movie. To help tide you over until the movie gets here, I present The Muppets as Justice League characters. Kermit is Superman, Gonzo is Batman, Miss Piggy is Wonder Woman, Scooter is Aquaman, Statler as the Green Lantern, Waldorf as The Flash and Fozzy as Martian Manhunter.

Now this is an alternate Justice League team that I can get behind. These fun illustrations are from artist Joshua Esselbrugge.

Batman, Superman And Wonder Woman Tattoo-Style Art

Batman, Superman And Wonder Woman Tattoo-Style Art
This tribute to “The Bat, The Amazon and God” comes from artist Nicolas Côme. It features Batman , Superman and Wonder Woman in a Tattoo art style. I’m not usually a big fan of this kind of tattoo art, but I have to say, I love these. All of the details just blow me away. They would really come to life with some color. I guess this is what our heroes would like like after they are long gone and in the grave. It is disturbing yet beautiful. I would love to see these on someone’s skin. I would also love to see the artist do more heroes.

Barbie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Batman & Wonder Woman Dolls

A Wonder Woman Barbie doll is expected, but Batman and Superman Barbie dolls? At least they don’t look like Ken. Mattel has announced their Batman and Wonder Woman “Dolls” based on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Both are available for pre-order on Amazon right now in fact. You can find Batman here and Wonder Woman here. They both stand 13 inches tall. No Superman yet however. I know the female fans will love that Wonder Woman version. She looks great.

Superheroes And Villains In Street Clothes

Superheroes And Villains In Street Clothes
It’s not every day that we get to see our favorite heroes and villains in street clothes rather than their usual outfits. Artist Mingjue Helen Chen created this lineup of DC superheroes and villains so we could see what they look like when they dress a bit more like we do. It would be fun to see some of these as cosplay too. Fantastic art.

Check out Catwoman, Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Supergirl and Poison Ivy here then go check out Mingjue Helen Chen’s website for more cool stuff.

New Batman v Superman Character Posters

batman v superman posters
Here are 3 new character posters for Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, focusing on Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. These three heroes are all looking intense and determined.

We still have a long wait for this movie, but this is one that I am super excited about. It has the potential to be HUGE. Batman and Superman will pound on each other, sure. But they are going to have to team up to face an even greater threat, with some help from Wonder Woman and a few others.

Boba Fett / Wonder Woman Cosplay

Boba Fett Wonder Woman Cosplay
You’ve never seen Wonder Woman like this. Or Boba Fett for that matter. Cosplayer Alkali Layke made this awesome costume that combines two of our favorites, Wonder Woman and Boba Fett. Do we call her Wonder Fett? Boba Woman? I have no idea, but that costume looks amazing. She prefers her Lasso of Truth to a blaster. Layke thinks this is her best work ever and we agree.

Awesome Job Alkali!

DC Ladies In The Style Of Alphonse Mucha’s The Four Seasons

DC Ladies In The Style Of Alphonse Mucha's The Four Seasons
Artist Allison Sohn recently posted this amazing commission by her husband Adam Hughes. It is a four piece set that shows some lovely DC ladies done in the style of Alphonse Mucha’s “The Four Seasons”. It is an absolutely lovely set.

If you are wondering how he got those amazing colors, these are done in color Copic Marker with colored pencils, some paint, and ink. I would love to own some prints. Hopefully he will make some available for purchase. Maybe he will create more. I love it.

Full Sized LEGO DC Superheros

Last month, artist Nathan Sawaya’s full-sized Batmobile made entirely of LEGO bricks was the centerpiece for an art exhibit at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, Australia called The Art of the Brick: DC Comics, and now we can show you more cool stuff that Sawaya created for the event. He made 120 original art pieces and below are just some highlights. They are all great, but I really love his version of The Flash.

It is amazing what you can do with LEGO. It’s one thing to build a little LEGO house and another to build full sized statues.

DC Comics Superheroes Get Old

DC Comics Superheroes Get Old
Shanghai based artist Eddie Liu created this imaginative series that imagines what some DC superheroes might look like if they grew old and were ready for retirement. We know them as young heroes in their prime, but in real life, everyone ages. It’s fascinating seeing such iconic heroes in a new light. These heroes may be old, but just look at them. They can still take care of business.

I think I prefer seeing our heroes as older rather than seeing them laid to rest.
