In 1976, Star Trek was enjoying a surge in popularity in syndication, so Topps released a series of collectible trading cards that featured full-color images from the television series. This Star Trek: The Original Topps Trading Card Series Book is the first-ever compilation and it includes the fronts and backs of all 88 cards and 22 stickers.
Most of us who collected these no longer have these cards so this will be a welcome trip down memory lane. The book also includes text and commentary. I love paging through books like this. These cards and so many more were a huge part of my childhood.

The original Star Trek TV series was a pop culture phenomenon. Almost everything about it is iconic. In fact, it is amazing that the stars aligned to create such a show that would endure. Now a new Kickstarter campaign is underway in order to create minimal art based on the show.
It is called Minimal Trek, and these minimal posters and postcards are as amazing as the original Star Trek itself. They may be minimal, but they are awesome. They are created by graphic designer Mark Gonyea, who made one for all 79 episodes.
