The Thing 4K Blu-Ray Comes With Some Stunning Artwork
Arrow Video’s 4K Blu-ray restoration of John Carpenter’s The Thing arrives in October, but you can pre-order it right now. The cover art is just amazing. Within that fur-trimmed parka there is the movie’s Antarctic setting, the ice cracked ominously. It just seems perfect. Video re-releases so often give us crappy artwork or just bad images, so it is nice to see this.

The Arrow Video release comes packaged in a steelbook with the original Thing art as well. It is limited to just 4,000 units. It will be released October 23.
