Check out these geeky pop-culture portraits by artist Mauro Balcazar. He draws inspiration from his favorite movies and TV shows to create amazing mixed media portraits of scifi and fantasy characters.

By now you’ve seen Ridley Scott’s new sci-fi movie The Martian. It looks like it might be one of the year’s best films, but would you expect anything less from Ridley Scott?
Well, check out this new mashup from YouTuber Tony D. It has audio from The Martian trailer mixed with video from Pixar’s WALL-E. The second video is a shot by shot comparison with The Martian’s real trailer. They did an excellent job on this one.
