Star Wars never fails to provide backstories for all of its characters, even the ones who are on screen for a second or two. Well, now thanks to Jim Benton, we have a backstory for the creature being milked by Luke Skywalker on Ahch-To in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Check out this concept art for The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. Most of these images involve the death of Han Solo in The Force Awakens and Benicio del Toro’s character, DJ from The Last Jedi. It’s interesting to see the changes that the death of Han went through, but it seems that he was always going to fall. DJ could have looked a lot different than he did in the movie. It’s always fascinating to see where the art was leading compared to where things ended up. I think I like Kylo’s mask in gold better than silver.

Porgs are pretty darn cute. Even though fans are very divided on whether or not The Last Jedi was a good movie, I think we can all agree that we would like to have our own adorable Porg to hang out with, maybe even snuggle up with on a cold night.
